Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. My hygienist told me about this website and forum and I am so happy that she did. I will be getting married at Azul May 2017 on the Sky Deck.

Did anyone use an outside vendor for flowers? I saw some of the prices for centerpieces on the Lamos website, but they were kind of outrageous. I'm in the process of getting quotes from 2 outside florists found on this website that had great reviews.

I am also looking into photographers and videographers and happy to see from prior posts that Del Sol is not an approved vendor. So far a few brides have told me to look into Fine Art Studios. Love their work so far,has anyone ever used them?

@@Sweetness14. I used Moments that Matter and really loved my pictures and video! I shopped around a good bit and I know there are a lot of great vendors in the area. For me, I was sold on the emotion I felt looking through their past wedding pictures (That's what I wanted for mine) and when I reached out how helpful and accommodating they were. I was kinda lost tbh about what time and what pictures and just about everything else in the planning process. But they helped me through all of that and pick a package that worked for me. At the time they offered specials to help offset Azul's crazy outside vendor fee. Not sure if they still do

Every bride is different and wants slightly different things. I'd say take a few of these suggestions and google them and see how it works for you.

Good luck!

For decor- I thought the Lomas prices were insane!! Again this is a personal decision, but if you are ok with Real Touch flowers Katy has some nice ones. I ended up getting Lomas flowers because my mother insisted they were fresh (and she helped pay!). I had 7 small bouquets (6 bm + me) and 2 large bouquet for the gazebo. I used real touch for the boutineers-found some on Etsy. I must say the flowers were gorgeous, but if I was paying myself I think I would've rented them from Katy. I also rented mason jars from Katy and this + the BM bouquets were my centerpieces.

No problem, this site helped me so much. I got lanterns, tea light holders, string lights for the gazebo, Papel picado and sone other stufd for the tables. My package came with table candles holders but no flowers. I got my bridesmaids bouquets from Etsy.com and used those in a clear vase as center pieces. I also got from Katy maracas, fans and Don Julio bottles to use as escort cards. Were you able to check out my pictures and video. Sarani and her team were amazing. I can't say it enough. This was definitely the biggest expense of our wedding but it was so worth it. We could not be happier. Here are the links again if you wanna check them out.

Anybody else get the outrageously cruel email from karisma to all brides about using love and lace? I'm heartbroken. I really hope I can make it work but I want them to confirm in writing that they won't confiscate the stuff i bring in as another bride said that could happen but that seems totally insane. They are basically threatening that it's illegal and we could all be held responsible by the "government". Give me a break... how could a wedding decor rental be illegal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
