Hi all,

 

So I am just over a month away and trying to make sure I have not missed anything.  I was wondering about amps.  We are renting an amp for the reception to play our own music from and IPOD.  The miami coordinators did not answer me (I just sent another email) when I asked about if a cord is provided to connect the ipod and amp. 

 

Did anyone rent an amp/use their own music for the reception. How did it go? Anything I should know or bring??

I bought these canvas bags, it was cheaper to do a big lot so I have so many extras!! If anyone is interested in them let me know I'll part with them at a discounted rate, the little ones are about 9x9" (without the handle) and are $1 each plus the exact cost of shipping. the big ones look the same but are about 15x15" (without the handle) and are $2 each plus the exact cost of shipping.

When we got married they had the cord to connect the ipod/iphone to the amp. It was the connection for an older version (iphone 4 or older), but they do weddings daily, so I would think they has an assorted number of connections to allow for different MP3 players, phones, etc. As far as I know, you are only required to supply the ipod/mp3 player. To make it easier for them, please label the songs (ie. bride walking down aisle, grooms song, dinner playlist, first dance, etc.).

@@BreeShort - We just got back from our wedding - we had rented an Amp for two separate parties - and needed to supply our own cord both times. I'd recommend bringing one with you as it didn't seem that they had one to lend us.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
