@@BecomingaRiggio I was looking through Katy's pics and noticed your flowers. I might use them since I haven't heard from wc in about a month after she had a family emergency. No one at karisma has been very responsive.

Looking back at my wedding experinece, most of my stress was induced by the Miami Coordinators at Karisma. Oncer we got there, different story. 100% turnaround. I bought alot on saveoncrafts. Took a glue gun and extra sprays and flowers to spruce anythung up in Mexico if needed.

@Aliyedwinramirez

I have inserted a photo of our itinerary from our invitation plus a photo from a itinerary we are including in our welcome bag. All are from www.weddingpassports.com

Let me know if this is what you are looking for?

I am struggling with flowers. The bouquets seem very expensive but maybe that's a normal price for flowers??? I have heard ppl mention real feel flowers but I have never seen them in real life. Are they good? Cheaper? Could I also use as centerpieces without it looking too "cheap"?

My friend used real touch lillies for her wedding and no one could tell the difference. I am using pretty wooden fans and I attached a flower and a ribbon for my bridesmaids, I made myself a pinterest inspired fabric flower bouquet and it is stunning. Think outside the box and check out pinterest, you would be amazed what you can do especially if you are crafty or enlist a crafty friend.

Has anyone previously chosen Xcaret at an optional excursion for their wedding weekend? Any pointers or advice?

Has anyone shipped items/decor to the hotel before the wedding? If so any tips on that? I keep reading horror stories and am now undecided on what to do...any positive experiences with that you can share to help put me at ease?

It is not recommended even by the hotel. You really have to bring everything down with you or use friends and family suitcases. Or of use katy for decor. Even our Rabbi down in Mexico did not recommend sending him an invitation via mail because those things get lost.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
