Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hello AS brides, Our wedding is Oct 26, 2016 and we are starting to make some "decisions". I am getting conflicting info on legal documents, some say we need a legalized-translated long form Birth Cert., passport & tourist card. Others say just passport and tourist card. What is correct?? Also looking for some advise, we are having our ceremony on the beach for 3pm, then thinking pics while everyone can go to one of the bars have some drinks. We are planning an outdoor private dinner (4hrs) with music and dancing, what time do you all think we should do this? 5pm? Do they expect right from 4hrs to move along? What should we do after? Mohito lounge for more dancing? Also bride who brought their own deco!!! What did you bring?, How much did it cost? We are thinking chair sashes for both ceremony and reception, lights and rice lanterns for reception.

TIA for the advice :0)

About eve everything else I'm not sure. But as far as decor lots of Brides who don't want to lug everything from home, use Kathy in Playa del Carmen. You can check out what she has on her Facebook page Love and Lace. She has great prices. :-)

I concur katy is the best.

As for traveling from the states we just need passports. You need to know your ss# when applying for one and might need to bring it in if you apply in person. If out of the states in not sure.

Some girls on here with afternoon weddings had gaps in their ceremony to reception. If you want to have dinner maybe have it start at 5 or 6 to let people cool off and have drinks while you all take pics. Most photographers will tell you he best time is an hour before sunset so hey might request to take pics btwn4-5. Sensatori does not expect you to have the ceremony and reception consecutively.

Also for chair sashes I used www.tableclothsfactory.com. Another gal used this company and the organza sashes are $0.49 a sash. Great deal since you have to buy sashes for ceremony and reception

@@amyzig2 the guest fees if a guest wants to hangout all day the day of the wedding is $72/adult and $32-$36/child. It's free when they come just an hour before any private event.

For brides that had drink cups in your OOT bags- any suggestions on where to get them and if they held up good. I have been looking on discountmugs.com, but if anyone has any specific recommendations it would be great to know if they really worked

As always, thanks!!

Hi Ladies

Something to keep in mind, I am almost positive you do not have the buy chair sashes for both ceremony and reception. I remember only buying 60 (using only 56) chair sashes and they moved it from the ceremony right to the reception.

Past Brides - Please confirm this info. Thx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
