Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

@@KendraS Thank you for the info! I'm sorry to learn the spa was disappointing. I am booked there for my hair/makeup as is my bridal party. Eek!

@@Janjin we have 15 kids coming and they each get to order from the kids menu. We are having a buffet for our "grown up" guests. The kids meals are free! See the menu attached.

We also had the option of paying half price for each child to eat from the buffet.

They are also providing baby food for our nephew.

I really wanted to have a photobooth. I was planning to do a DIY one with a polaroid camera, but then I saw how dark it will be in my reception space (Plaza Zavas) and decided against it.

Hi ladies! I had a very productive wedding weekend - ordered our invitations and bought my DRESS!!! It's gorgeous and I feel absolutely amazing in it!  Am so excited!!  Can’t wait for it to come in.  This whole wedding thing definitely feels a lot more real now – if that makes sense!!

Hope everyone else had a good weekend!

@@Ydolem You should be ok depending on the person you get a the spa. I do recommend a trial a few days before your big day...  that way you can ask them to make changes or request someone else!  Definitely bring pictures printed out of what you want for hair and makeup.  They were willing to make the changes for me, but the look just didn't work for me. It wasn't awful, but the updo didn't look like my pic and makeup was just blah!

Hi ladies,

I need some help.... I had arranged last week to pay the $800 outside vendor fee in order to have someone come and do hair and makeup. I was told by my WC today that the azul no longer allows outside vendors for hair and makeup even with paying the fee. Meaning I would have to use the salon at the resort or take all 14 people off site. It's a larger amount of people because I have some family members from both sides joining us. I was wondering if any of you have any advise? Should I bag it, use the salon at the resort and hope for the best or take everyone off site? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@@KendraS Thanks for the reassurance. I have a rehearsal booked and now I'm so glad I did! I'll bring the contact info with me for StylingTrio just in case.

Glad your day was awesome! I'm sure you looked gorgeous.

@@lauralc That's so silly! They should be happy to take your money, for goodness sake. I'm using the spa and hoping that goes well.

Another option would be to book your makeup artist a room so they are a guest at the resort. That would be an expensive plan but the spa at the resort is expensive too!

Hi gals! We are getting married at Azul Sensatori in September.

We are on a super tight budget so I am going crazy trying to find ways to cut costs at Sensatori. The prices they charge for the add-ons  are outrageous!

I have a million questions but I'd like to start asking what you have done for centerpieces and decorations! I am concerned about  how heavy they will be and customs restrictions.

I am also worried about the bouquets.

Any ideas or pictures to share?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
