Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Can anyone let me know the size of the cocktail tables for the cocktail hour? Also are the round tables 90" square feet or larger? Currently I am looking around for linens.

On a different subject has anyone tried to use their complimentary dinner reservation at the Zavaz restaurant or does it have to be at Spoons? Since I am not using the free reservation for my reception I am using it for my bridal luncheon on Friday.

You can do it at any of the restaurants aside from Le cirque... But it is arranged upon arrival. Same menu though.

Table sizes are all on the "official Sensatori" thread in one of the first posts

@@lauralc what your TA told you is true. Basically if your family is not staying in that section they can't go there.

As far as the room I would recommend you to go with the cheapest, all rooms are really nice (including the basic), but since you are the bride request an ocean front view. They might upgrade you to the honeymoon suite once you are there (which its super expensive per night) If they do so they might give you the honey moon suite for the average nights of what your guests are staying. So for instance if you are staying 7 nights and your average is 5 nights then you will start in the basic room and move to the upgraded suite for the 5 nights remaining. Again this is a possibility nothing 100% sure.

@linaco..are they gonna charge you the fee? I am almost tempted to leave the resort in a cab to do my make up

I was going to pay, but not anymore. I can take a shuttle and get ready then come back. It will be complicated if you want, I will make this day the less stressful possible. Even air brush there is way too expensive and there is not guarantee I will like it.

@@SusanMarie813 Do you need the worksheet itself to the cost/budget we all talk about here?

@@icoangel78 Congrats on your wedding and wishing you the best :), all the decor looks really nice :) share more if you can :)

Did the wedding staff at the resort print the menus or you had to bring them printed from home?

Hey ladies.

For all of you that are doing welcome bags with a type of cup/tumbler, how are you transporting them down? Just as a checked bag or did you order them through the resort? We have about 75 people attending so I can't imagine how I will bring 75 cups with me without having to pay quite a bit more in checked bags.

Thank you!

Im thinking the same thing. I will have to put it in a regular bag and give it to family members where they will have to help me carrying all that stuff...The good news are that I won't come back with that lol

if you want a honeymoon room I would go ahead and book it. I would not bank on booking a lower rate room and depend on them upgrading you because 1)they not required to upgrade you and 2)there might not be any rooms available to upgrade. we booked a honeymoon and it was gorgeous!

they did not print any menu for my private dinner because we didn't do any upgrades towards decorations but they did print a menu for the free reception we got that we used for our rehearsal dinner the night before

Hi Susan - check out Lomas' planning website. It isn't a spreadsheet, but it has all the prices. each Bride's spreadsheet is created based on what she chooses, not a laundry list of all the prices & availability. The banquet guide (also available under the Food & Beverage section of the planning website) has the prices for private events - cocktails, receptions, dinners, lunches or breakfasts.  Hope this helps!

@@linaco80 yes something that shows all the items broken down and I can see what the costs will look like.  Since it is so a -la- carte I am trying to compare it to other resorts to see which one makes the most sense... does that make sense??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
