Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

everyone has to do their wedding planning through the coordinators in Miami. you don't get to work with coordinators at the hotel until you get there. the Miami coordinators can be frustrating at time with communication but you will be fine. after they did their reorganization where you work with a team rather than knd individual it was much better

Hey Ladies! My fiancé and I are on board the plane to Mexico. We are flying Delta and as soon as the flight attendant saw my bag she and I tag teamed proper placement in the over head bin in first class. (We are seated in first class but the first class closet is rather small, possibly because we are flying from ATL and we're in a little md88). I will be giving a full report soon but for now...time for sunshine, time to get married!!!

The travel agency that I'm dealing with recommended me to a coordinator that is base in Miami and I don't feel comfortable with that

you will be ok. The Miami coordinators put together the biggest things like what menu you want, venue and things like that. When it comes to the details that's all set up when you arrive at the resort with the onsite coordinator. They can take a while to respond from Miami but at least for me it hasn't been a big deal so far. We've had plenty of time to plan so maybe that's why.

For those of you that have passed out their welcome bags or are planning on doing so at your welcome party, how did you go about doing that and did you keep them in some sort of container as guests picked them up?

Thanks,

Carrie

Where are you having your welcoming party? I would suggest asking the staff to designate a table for you to lay out the welcome bags so your guests can pick them up. My finance (at that time) and I handed them to each guest. Not only was it very time consuming but it also took our time away from relaxing and having fun.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Its been a couple of years since I have been to this forum and I am so pleased to see this is still going strong! :)

I hope I can lend my advice based on my personal experience when I had gotten married at Azul Sensatori on 11/10/12. Also, I just got back from El Dorado Royale&Generations for our anniversary.  Both resorts are amazing! So if anyone plans on heading here for their honeymoon, you will NOT be disappointed!

And of course, congratulations to all the Brides!!!! :)

Hi ladies!

I know this has probably been asked before but I can't find the information :( does anyone know what the measurments of the beach ceremony gazebo are? I'm wanting to make a fabric back drop but I need to know how wide and tall it is? Also are there any past brides here who got married in April or May? I'm wondering how windy the beach is in the late afternoon/evening? We are getting married on the beach and reception at palapa yoga :)

Thanks in advance ladies!

I believe the dimensions are listed on the "official Sensatori" thread.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
