Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Awesome, yes I am in NJ. I looked at their website, this is exactly what I am looking for because they dont look cheap at all. Did you get them clear? Thanks so much for sharing this one :)

Another QUESTION:

I am not sure who knows this one, Is it true that after the reception the staff at the hotel will score out those guests who are not staying at the resort? which means that if they want to go to Mojito they wont be able..

If they are attending private events only they will be escorted off property (names on guest list)... If you purchase a day pass to use the facilities/eat/drink as a guest/ they can stay til midnight I believe.

You may or may not get away with it... Worst case she will be asked to leave... But the open areas/restaurants and bars are for paid guests only- so they traditionally don't allow non paying guests (staying on site or whom have purchased a day pass) to attend anything but a private event.

We are telling our guests they MUST buy a guest pass for any days they plan on attending functions at our resort for this very reason.

@@reidbride2015 omg how exciting!! Are you staying for the week? Maybe we'll partay together after & I'm totally freaking out! I'm planning to do my own decorations & probably use some of theirs.. I'm not even at that point yet I'm working on getting the invitations out.. How about you? Did you send out your invitations yet?

@@SofieDup we are staying for 2 weeks! we have about 26 people coming down with us. we are planning on just having the simple ceremony and then use the pure glamour package for the reception, we will bring down our own paper lanterns and lights though :)

I sent out invites EARLY.. haha... im flying out from Canada and I have people coming from England so I wanted to get everything sent out early. I had everyone booked by June 2014 lol. Now im just working on Christmas... after Christmas ill focus on Welcome bags and the mens attire. im hoping to get bridesmaid attire ordered next month. Id rather do it slow and steady then all at once towards the end... im a planner haha. What location did you pick for the reception?

This is exciting to have another bride! I actually had another bride message me who I also getting married on May 3rd! Maybe we will al party together after our weddings at the mojito lounge!!

@@icoangel78 - Nov 30 is the official end of hurricane season. We were there for 10 days in 2012 in Nov, and had rain 1 day. 6 days in Nov 2013, 1 day of rain. don't get too hung up on the weather forecast - it's really not accurate until a day or two before, and even then it's often showers that move through fairly quickly.

does anyone know if the weather stops raining in November. I heard November is end of hurricane season but looks like the forecast predict it to rain into december. we getting married next months and I'm so scared it's gonna rain and ruin our outdoor events

Thanks in advance!!

Our biggest concern was modern amenities and gourmet food and drinks. We have visited over 30 AI resorts over the past years and our expectations were high. Everything I read about the service, food and accommodations were amazing... So Karisma was our front runner. We knew kids would be at our wedding which eliminated El Dorado resorts... And we would be a large group which eliminated Azul Beach. I wanted a resort that was big enough to not trip over one another- but not so spread out that we would not see our guests over our week's stay. Generations was gorgeous, but would have had a week's stay sitting around $2500/pp for our guests, and I didn't want to do that to our guests. That made Sensatori our winner. I then took a trip for their BDR to confirm that the quality of food and service was as good as everyone claimed and it surpassed my expectations and the onsite wedding coordinators were fabulous. The beach itself is shallow and in front of a coral reef/protected ecological site... So it's not crystal clear blue water and white sand beach for miles... But every review warned us about this- and for us that didn't matter... It was still pretty and the facilities themselves made up for a bit of seaweed!

Hands down happy with our decision.

@@atyson03 thank you :)

@@Janjin We are very happy with our decision of choosing Azul Semsatori and there are no regrets. However, I didn't do any research on vendors and ended no being a fan of their photographer and DJ, So I will bring my own. Vendor fee is $800 per event or 3 nights paid as guest. I would advice you to check their vendors first (photographer, DJ, flowers, makeup)

Check out their authorized vendor www.lomas.com go to the weddings section and see all they offer.

Best luck and happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
