Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

HI Everyone! I can't seem to find answers on approved DJ's for the resort, and if they allow outside vendors. What is everyone planning on doing for reception music?

Both authorized DJs are on the lomas weddings website with pricing. Outside vendors are 3 night hotel or $800

How is the photographers for this resort because it seems like they only have two choices and non of them wow me from their portfolio. I really like this resort but I wonder if I could be making a mistake.

Hi ladies,

My lovely hubby and I got married at the Azul Sensatori in October, 2013. It was a wonderful and amazing experience and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to shoot me a message. We got married before the luxury packages were rolled out, but we had our wedding on the beach (gorgeous) hired a local photographer (amazing) and had cocktail hour at Zavaz Plaza and our reception itself on the patio of the Zocalo Restaurant (the food was exceptional and the location was semi-private; we had drinks and dancing and speeches and it couldn't have gone better). We just celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary and it brought back so many memories of the planning process - anyone getting married at the Sensatori has made a terrific choice for locations - the staff is incredible, the food is amazing, the resort is gorgeous and you can't go wrong!

@ismymeg. Choosing Azul Sensatori is def not a mistake. The vendor fee is the only negative you will find at Azul. There have been several ladies on this thread that have used the photographer vendors through Azul and some that have gone elsewhere and have been completely happy. I am thinking of using a photographer that is not a vendor approved and the photographer fee plus the vendor fee will cost the same as going with caribe photo.

All in all it is about the service at the hotel and the service there is top notch. I would not worry that you are making a mistake :)

@@TinkerSofi hope the code works, Black Friday is coming also. I also got the vintage package :)

@@linaco80 you have to go to their "shop"...not just the website. That's the place... You can get them for $6.50 a bag when you buy more than 20... They are sold that way... Then the sale made them 3.25. They will have a cyber Monday sale too- but usually 40% off.

As for the Tervis... We are going with no handle... Just a tumbler more than a mug... Again waiting for 25% off with cyber Monday. If not there, then bubba mugs have some nice options. But yes- plain and then adding a waterproof sticker.

I will look and take advantage of these coming promotions (Black Friday) I am still searching a tag for the lost key. cant find it.

@@linaco80 we are doing one bag per room- so both tumblers will go in the bag. We have almost 100 guests so it will still take a ton of planning on my part for about 40 bags. Then rooms with kids will get the additional kid items.

I forgot about the key holder... Plan on adding those to the bags as well... I just forgot to mention it!

If I get actual Tervis tumblers I will buy them direct on sale... Bubba mugs will be direct as well... I don't think weddingchicks sells them!

where are you looking for key holder tags? I found someone created her own using picmoney...I have to order these things with the BF sale

Rain normally only last a short while and then burns off- don't panic... And the covered areas used for back up locations are really pretty! I tend to watch "weather underground" for the most accurate forecast. You can't know for certain if it's going to rain, but you can see extended forecasts and projections and plan accordingly.

Awesome, yes I am in NJ. I looked at their website, this is exactly what I am looking for because they dont look cheap at all. Did you get them clear? Thanks so much for sharing this one :)

Another QUESTION:

I am not sure who knows this one, Is it true that after the reception the staff at the hotel will score out those guests who are not staying at the resort? which means that if they want to go to Mojito they wont be able..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
