Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Right now I am struggling with when I should send out save the dates and the invitations. We are getting married October of next year so I don't want I an them our to early that people forget or to late. What has everyone else been doing?

Well I'm a total planner, lol.., my wedding is Feb 2016 and my booking/RSVP deadline has already passed so I was very early!! Hahah my guests had no problem booking that early (82 guests booked) and it's allowing them to pay down slowly with our TA if they want. They are price protected if then price went down and it allowed them to make this their winter holiday for next year and start planning! So I'm in the camp that it's never too early to let your friends and family know you want them along for your DW!

I have a question over the topic if Rehearsal dinner:

For our Rehearsal dinner my soon to be in laws want to have everyone attending the wedding to be invited to the rehearsal dinner. Has any brides done this before and if so does anybody have suggestions where my new in laws should host so it does not outdo the wedding reception on the beach?

Depending on how many people you have attending you could do it at spoons. They have a section that they make semi-private that allows for a fixed menu and could be a nice option. You can also do something similar at zocalo or the Italian restaurant but the rooms are smaller and would not allow for as many people. Would they be open to hosting a welcome event instead? So that it's not the day before your wedding reception?

We will have approx 60-80 people at the wedding and rehearsal dinner...

I am researching passport invitations and I am only finding invites for $8-$10/suite. Has anybody found passport invitations that are in the $5 range/suite?

Also what are some save the date ideas that you have done or seen besides luggage tags or postcards?

@@carrieandsam. Please visit Vanessa's Destination Weddings. Vanessa and Dave are mazing to work with and their work is top notch. I had my passports assembled like the American passport and everyone loved it :) I had the navy blue leatherette.

visit their Facebook page and search Vanessa destination weddings, prices are affordable and you can get something around $3.75 with great quality, working with them was absolutely amazing, best luck to you :) please ask any questions you may have ;)

Hey Ladies...I will be attending the BDR Nov 6-9...will any of you ladies be there?? I'm so excited =D ... We are looking to book our wedding of May 2016 so we can give our guests plenty of time to save. I was told by the group reservation person that the rooms at azul senatori get booked full in the month of may even as early as a year ahead of time!! Therefore, once my fiancé and I confirm our wedding date, I'd like to send the actual invitations in January of 2015, so we can have RSVPs and deposits starting in April/May 2015 so everyone can pay little by little but at least guarantee their room.... any thoughts on this??

I also wanted to throw a very casual "wedding countdown bash" late spring/early summer of 2015 so we can have everyone together...celebrate with those that maybe can't make t to the formal wedding, and give updates on how to plan for the trip....casual party either in a backyard and have all of our invited guests attend locally... I didn't have an engagement party and I have been engaged since June 2013...I just wasn't sure how that would look with already sending invitations out for wedding in May 2016 (I figured lets forget save the dates if we already have all the details our guests need to book) ....Any suggestions ladies???

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
