Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

@@kmk2016 do they rent the weights (Lomas) or the bride has to bring them?

I read something similar regarding floating candles on the pool

From what I understand you need to bring them yourself... I'm sure you could rent some sort of thing from lomas but would pay through the nose!

Agree any expense with them is an arm and a leg to get what you want

I have found it hit or miss actually... Some items are totally reasonable while others seem high.. With no rhyme or reason! Hahah... I plan on bringing smaller decor items with me, but are renting key items like chandeliers, Chivari chairs etc.

@@kmk2016 I was looking at a string of 12 bulbs and they were ridiculous pricey for the quantity $200 :o , they charge you like new and re use it.

Are you setting chandeliers at Plaza Zavas (if I am not mistaken that is your location for the reception)?

what kind of chairs does the basic set up have? I thought that Chiavari chairs come with the basic set up, I didnt even pay attention to the chairs but chiavari are nice :)

Yup chandelier is being hung at reception and then I'm bringing string lights from

Home to supplement. They are the basic folding white chairs for reception and ceremony. I am upgrading to the drk brown Chivari.

Gotcha, a chandelier will look beautiful. I will find out if the basic set up includes the chair cover and the white organza bow (will have to make sure about the cover), I will bring my own color bows to switch the colors.

a chivari chair does not need much of decor, correct? I saw some covers and they look pretty but it does not need much I would think. how much do they charge for the upgrade from a basic folding chair to Chivari?

Did you get the ok from your WC for string lights? Are you having your reception at the terrace? I was told that they might not be able to hang any lights up there (across the top) . I'm waiting to hear back confirmation for that

At Sensatori you cant use the sky deck for your reception.. only ceremony. So we are moving locations for our reception to a space called Zavas Plaza... a ground level open area by the pools that has a gazebo used as a dance floor. It is ok to have string lights here and done all the time. They have also confirmed I can have the chandelier here.

Oh ok. That sounds great! I'm actually pretty dissapointed that we can't have any at fives. I always knew I wanted string lights. Oh well...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
