OMG...the flowers were perfect!!!! I admit...towards the end I did get a little nervous bc if anything went wrong the resort couldn't help.  but they were delivered about 15minutes early and were able to bring them right to the lobby.  everything was beautiful and exact copies of the pics I had sent in!

 

Check out marvin with maya floral... his prices can't be beat and totally happy with the way everything worked out

Hi Everyone, 

I've been stalking for months, but now that I'm confirmed at Azul Sensatori on 3/7/15, I'm excited to finally join in on the exciting wedding convos! :)

 

I haven't done much planning yet....my WC is Lynda and she has been pretty responsive to my questions and requests so far., but  I read a few posts about an online wedding planner/detail sheet and she didn't once mention anything about that.

Have you guys been updating an online detail sheet OR has your WC been doing this for you?

@@atyson03  I did not have a good first go around with destinationweddings.  Long story short we had to be reassigned a new TA because the other one messed up everything you could possibly mess up. I'm very happy with my new TA though.

There was a time when I was given a user id and password and a link where I could view my detail sheet anytime I wanted. Then for a brief period I had access to make changes to my detail sheet. Then they took away my access to the detail sheet completely. My previous TA sent me a link that allows me to view my updated detail sheet at anytime. Ask your TA for the link.

Hello everyone,

 

Just wanted to share my wedding experience at the Azul Sensatori on April 9, 2014.

 

The entire wedding planning process for me was good. Yes there were stressful times with family issues. But that comes with any wedding. The wedding co-ordinator I got was Erika from Florida and she was amazing. 

 

We arrived April 7, 2014 with a total group of 20 ppl. We had a entire charter bus to ourselves. When we arrived at the resort the Sunwing rep met us and took care of everyones check in individually and everyone was satisfied with the entire process. 

 

We (bride and groom) were upgraded to the premium section at no cost. Which was amaxzing. We had the most beautiful views.

 

The day before the wedding we met with the co-ordinators (cant remember their names) They went through the entire detail sheet and i gave them all my decorations and told them where I would like everything and how I would like it set up. I didnt want to use my cell phone to play my ceremony music so they downloaded the songs and played them through the DJ. Amazing.

 

The set up cost was $250 american.

 

The day of the wedding we chilled by the pool until about 11, then I got my hair done which they did a great job, everyone loved my hair. I got ready in my room and my husband got ready in his room, which was amazing in his eyes.

 

The co-ordinator came to my room at 4:30pm and walked me to the beach area for our wedding. When I saw the set up my jaw dropped..it was stunning. 

 

The photographer from Caribe Photography was just amazing, i had 4 hours with him and he took the most amazing pictures. It took 48 hours to get all our photos in albums and many other photos printed. Very satisfied.

 

The reception took place at the Zavas Plaza and it was amazing. Everything was set up perfectly. The food was fantastic and the DJ was great and the bartender was really good making any drink requested! Our party was so good that other guests asked if they could join in! It lasted from 7-11pm. 

 

So all in all this resort did a beyond great job in my eyes. There is not one thing that happened that was wrong. Maybe we got lucky, since we were the only wedding April 9. 

 

So I wouldnt worry ladies trust me this resort knows what its doing !!!!

You wedding sounds perfect!!! What DJ did you use? We have around the same number of guest and I keep going back and fourth on the DJ.. Also did you purchase your own sheers of the ceremony set up? What dimensions did you go off of?

Thanks! I used DJ AllMusic. I did buy my own sheers, I used the dimensions provided in one of these forums. If you look through you will find it. 

I liked the DJ option only because I don't have to worry about changing songs on a iPod dock. 

You are going to love it. I've read horror reviews on here and I was so worried and stressed, but honestly it was the most stress free thing I ever did.

I'm wondering the same question as lolita2014 because I have heard a lot of negatives about Caribe photography.  Did they touch up your photos and edit them?

Is there anyone else going to the BDR in July for Karisma?

I feel really bad but I don't know his name. I was nervous for using them too but he did a great job. ( I will try to find out what his name is) Very patient, I even printed some key pictures i wanted and he did every one of them for me. 

The pictures are not retouched or edited. I got the 4 hour package from 430-830.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
