Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Do they give you the lengths? I am there in June and planning on measuring the lengths between posts etc on the new gazebo, since I think all the dimensions on the official sensatori thread are still of the old plaza zavaz structure before it came down and was rebuilt a few months ago, I will share when I'm back!

I posted this on a separate topic but I thought I should try this too.

I have guests travelling from europe (france/switzerland) to our wedding. Unfortunately our TA can't offer packages with flight + hotel from these departing cities and the land only rates just don't make sense.

Does anyone know a company in europe that offers vacation packages (flight + hotel) from Europe to Mexico?

Thanks!

I have heard of people using Thompson Tours from the UK but I have no personal experience with them.

Kmk- that would be amazing! Each string of banners is 18 feet long.

Sounds good! I will add this to my plans for the site visit since I wanted to do something similar

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to share my wedding experience at the Azul Sensatori on April 9, 2014.

The entire wedding planning process for me was good. Yes there were stressful times with family issues. But that comes with any wedding. The wedding co-ordinator I got was Erika from Florida and she was amazing.

We arrived April 7, 2014 with a total group of 20 ppl. We had a entire charter bus to ourselves. When we arrived at the resort the Sunwing rep met us and took care of everyones check in individually and everyone was satisfied with the entire process.

We (bride and groom) were upgraded to the premium section at no cost. Which was amaxzing. We had the most beautiful views.

The day before the wedding we met with the co-ordinators (cant remember their names) They went through the entire detail sheet and i gave them all my decorations and told them where I would like everything and how I would like it set up. I didnt want to use my cell phone to play my ceremony music so they downloaded the songs and played them through the DJ. Amazing.

The set up cost was $250 american.

The day of the wedding we chilled by the pool until about 11, then I got my hair done which they did a great job, everyone loved my hair. I got ready in my room and my husband got ready in his room, which was amazing in his eyes.

The co-ordinator came to my room at 4:30pm and walked me to the beach area for our wedding. When I saw the set up my jaw dropped..it was stunning.

The photographer from Caribe Photography was just amazing, i had 4 hours with him and he took the most amazing pictures. It took 48 hours to get all our photos in albums and many other photos printed. Very satisfied.

The reception took place at the Zavas Plaza and it was amazing. Everything was set up perfectly. The food was fantastic and the DJ was great and the bartender was really good making any drink requested! Our party was so good that other guests asked if they could join in! It lasted from 7-11pm.

So all in all this resort did a beyond great job in my eyes. There is not one thing that happened that was wrong. Maybe we got lucky, since we were the only wedding April 9.

So I wouldnt worry ladies trust me this resort knows what its doing !!!!

I picked the beach area by the peer. It is very secluded.

Here are our pictures from April 9, 2014.

I've heard rumors that the structure on the sky deck is no longer the dark wood... and now white. Can anyone confirm? I hope this isn't true because I really love the look of it.

It is white and from far away it looked good.

@Kingz85

I'm so relieved Caribe did a good job! We are using them too, and i've been nervous about it. I can't see your pictures because i'm a noob :( but your profile pic looks great!!

what decorations did you bring? Which food choice for the reception? did you have any other events with your group?

Lots of questions, sorry!

Megan

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
