Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Can you let us know how the weather is when you are down there? We are headed to Azul Beach on June 30 (big day is July 4th!) and have been following the weather for the past month and EVERY day says that it is storming. I was wondering if it just builds up during the day with short showers and then storms at night? It would suck so bad if we got there and got pissed on the whole week!!

Hey ladies, I know I have asked before but I didn't receive many responses. I'm really debating over what to do for a D.J. I have heard a lot about Doremixx but would love to avoid the outside vendor fee. My fiancée is big into music and will be putting together all the songs to be played at out wedding so I was thinking of just going with D.J. Allmusic. Any thoughts? I can't find any reviews of him anywhere on this site. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Also has anyone used an outside vendor for flowers? I used DJ All music and he was great. We gace them a few suggestions of music to play for dinner and the party and left the rest up to them. They had a great selection and everyone loved the music. Save yourself the cost and go with the resort DJ.

I wanted Doremixx as well but based off what my WC said, the hotel no longer permits outside vendors. Soo we are using DJ All Music as well and I've heard lots of great things about him through this thread. Don't worry :)

I am having DJ doremixx, but like JMK said, they have implemented a new rule about DJ vendors. I don't know if its all DJ's or just doremixx, but look into it bc even with the vendor fee doremixx was the same price as the resort DJ. The resort DJ was 1600 and doremixx is 800 plus the vendor fee. I couldn't find reviews on the site DJ and since I had read SO many reviews about doremixx, it was an obvious decision for me. Unfortunately, like I said, I'm pretty sure he isn't allowed at Azul anymore, but others might be.

I had so much fun planning my wedding (back in 2011) that I had to come on today to see whats been going on in the Azul thread.

I had 51 guests, and I can't begin to tell you how many times my family/friends bring up their time at Azul and our wedding week.  We all had the time of our lives, and I get asked CONSTANTLY about a 5 year reunion! hahahha

Enjoy this time ladies, it goes by quickly but not without a world of memories made.
:)

Happy Planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
