Hi Ladies!

So I am having a hard time figureing out exactly what times I should put down for everything at the reception (speaches, dances, cake cutting, dinner ect)

. Does anyone have any suggestions? Our reception is from 7-11. Thanks!!

Thank you so much for the nice compliment!  It was very windy up on the sky deck.  It seems to always be windy there but it's how my "husband" wanted it and I agreed to let him have this one request :)   Half up/half down probably would have been a bit more comfortable given the wind.
Thanks for the info!! Forgot to ask before but was it windy by plaza zavez for the reception?

I'm starting to think about this also... Our reception is 6-10, 4 hours long as well!

Thank you for answering my questions, Murmel and DawnDean. Nobody mentioned anything about bride and groom getting complimentary wifi.  I've asked Erika but she did not mention complimentary wifi for bride and groom. She told me to speak with the onsite coordinator.
You can always ask when you get to the resort. I know Canadians are currently not able to get the free sweetheart package :( But again, the deals are constantly changing, and it never hurts to ask!

Let me back up.. we had the free sweet wedding package and it was included in that package.  I would assume that it's included for all brides but I can't say for sure.  I assume since ours was the free package that all others would have it included as well.
Erika is my WC as well and we are also doing the free sweet wedding package. Wi-FI is included for bride and groom with that package bc wi-FI is included in a premium suite and to get the free sweet wedding package you have to stay in a premium suite. Does that make sense? Hope that clears things up for you. :)

Ok great that does!! So are you going to tip him or the assistant at all?
I haven't decided for sure yet. I have to see how much his assistant does and if he stays the whole time, etc. I would feel awkward giving his assistant something and not him so I'm probably giving either both or neither. I guess it will depend on how happy I am with their work. More than likely I will have tip money ready for them bc I do think they will do a great job. I dunno... The whole tip thing is so hard! Lol I am a big tipper and believe in tipping well so I don't want to miss anyone :/

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
