MMK0386- Are you using different shades of purple throughout your wedding. My colors are purple and silver/gray as well and my bm dresses are aubergine which is a purplish gray and i wasn't sure using dark purple for others things would clash.
Did I respond to this? I'm losing my mind and can't even remember!!! Haha. Yes I'm using shades of purple. For the most part I'm sticking with a deeper "plum-ish" color purple but in definitely not stressing over every aspect of purple matching exactly. My bridesmaids don't have the exact same dress either, so that makes it easy to my have everything match.

Stupid auto correct- at the end I meant to say that makes it easy to *not* have everything match!

Hi! Congrats on your wedding! Do you have any pics? I'm considering using Dean Sanderson, Ivan Luckie, or just bringing my own from home. It is cheaper to bring my own from home but i like the idea of using a mexican photog b/c they know the area and the trash the dress pics look unreal!! Was Dean worth the price?
Hi! Dean was worth every penny!! If you book him a room for three nights..it's cheaper than the vendor fee. That is what I did. I just got a few pictures from Dean today. I will upload them. The trash the dress was an amazing experience and worth it! My fiancé who wanted nothing to do with TTD session wound up loving it and raving it. All of our guests and bridal party also loved Dean and spoke so highly of him after the wedding about how friendly he was.=) if you want to email me I can send you more pictures. Hey girls! I'm having a hard time deciding on a photographer. I'm undecided between Dean Sanderson, Ivan Luckie, or bringing my own from home. Believe it or not, it's actually quite a bit cheaper to bring my own from home. Our ceremony is at 1pm & I want the photog to be there when we're getting ready up until the beginning of the dances, so it would be 10+ hrs of coverage, which is quite pricey. I also really want to do a trash the dress session and am leaning more towards using Dean or Ivan for this reason. They're underwater pics look amazing.Does anyone have any recommendations on using Dean or Ivan?
I recommend Dean! =)

I just feel like everyone will be so lost otherwise. I don't understand how people would know where to stand, etc.

They wouldn't let me add one to my detail sheet. I'm a little mad because I requested one and they said no. Grr that kind of makes me mad, since now I printed all of my brochures and schedules saying that we are not having one.

Well, goal accomplished!! I am sticking with the script I posted earlier this week and I have completed the design for the ceremony program. :) I haven't printed and put together all the programs yet, so I still have that project, but the design is done and the wording is finished (thank God!!). Here is a sample program I printed. It's front and back and each guest will get a raffia fan as well. 400 What do ya'll think??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
