I would trust Vucko :)  I'm sure he'll be great!  Just give him an idea of what you are looking for....you could even email some pics you've seen so he has an idea of your vision.

any recommendation on what package to purchase. I have a dilemma my ceremony isn't until 630pm and me and my fh don't want to see each other and I am worried about what kind of pics we are going to get after the ceremony since the sun will begin setting ( sunset.is 7:25).

We had Javier take our photos.  They turned out really nice - everyone that has seen them has been impressed with the quality.  He was also super nice!!   You will be happy!

We had our ceremony at 5pm (it was really fast, maybe 20 minutes) and the sun was almost gone by 6pm.  Looking back I probably would have moved up the ceremony time to 4:30pm so we would have had just a little more time for photos.

We had 5 hours of photography.  Had him start at 3pm and he was there until we cut the cake.  It seemed like the perfect amount of time.  I wish I would have suggested that he take some pics of the ceremony set-up and reception decorations during the time I was getting ready.

Has anyone brought there own decorations for the ceremony (the gazebo)? Did any of you purchase your own white sheer organza fabric, if so where did you purchase it and how much did you purchase?
I bought mine on amazon. I bought two bolts- one purple and one silver. They need to be a certain dimensions which I will have to post later bc I can't recall but here is what I bought and its the right size http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005WZNYIS/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=pe_175190_21431760_3p_M3T1_ST1_dp_1

I asked the same question on the Azul Beach thread. Kaela was kind enough to provide this info. I ended up buying 2 bolts of the ivory sheers. "Here is the exact link of what I purchased off of Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005WYWE9Y/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It says it's unavailable now, but I'm sure you can find something similar. Like this for example, http://www.amazon.com/Ivory-Organza-Fabrics-Yards-Wholesale/dp/B005WZMOS4/ref=sr_1_13?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1362551632&sr=1-13&keywords=organza+fabric It's the same thing I got, but ivory instead of white (which is so close when we're talking about sheer organza). I think it ended up costing me about $40 total. Huge savings compared to what it costs to rent them from Lomas! It was two bolts of organza fabric, both measuring 25 yards each, and it was more than enough. We gave them to the wedding planners, and the staff assembled them to the gazebo. Packing tip: I had to take the cardboard out of the bolts to make them much easier for packing, otherwise they won't fit in a standard suitcase."

Great suggestion! I want red and white but didn't know how much they would charge to rent. I found this my using your link on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Inch-Organza-Fabrics-Yards-Wholesale/dp/B005WZIE2E/ref=sr_1_13?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1365556880&sr=1-13&keywords=organza+bolt I'm going to order it but should I get 1 red and 1 white? Or 2 reds? My colors are red and ivory but I don't want the red to be too much. What do you think?

Hi ladies! Hope you are all doing well!

I'm finally getting around to going through the tons of boxes throughout our house and came across some items we won't end up using for the wedding. I'm thinking of doing a "pre-wedding" sale to make some space in our apartment before my shower. I figured I would let you all know here first to give any of my fellow AS brides first dibs =)

Here are some items I have left over, if there's interest, I'll post pictures & prices:

-Mason jars, various sizes [some are plain, others are with BALL logo & measurements] About 10-12 jars

-Submergible LED lights, set of 12 from Michael's craft store [these are VERY bright!]

-2 sets of 3 pc. tall square glass vases, with matching ivory floating candles

-Random fabric/material left over- ivory woven cotton "rope", cream "gauze" ribbon, white frilly lace, raw burlap roll.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
