Here was our reception timeline, and we we were pretty much right on time with everything.  This worked in the setting of 30 guests.  By the time we started speeches, our guests all had dessert served.

 

 

Introduction of Bride & Groom 7:10
   
Start Dinner  ~7:15
   
Guitar Trio 7:30 - 8:15
   
Speeches ~8:15/8:20 start
   
First Dance Immediately after speeches (~8:45/8:50)
   
Cake Cutting 8:55
   
Parent Dance 9:00
   
Pinata 9:05
   
Dance Party starts after Pinata

MAKE UP.  It's time to start  thinking of my make-up.  I'm going to do it myself.  My Fiance doesn't want me to be too made up and i agree.  I'd rather look natural.  So, what kind of base/foundation are you all choosing to wear.  It would be good to get some ideas from those of you who have already been there and from those of you who have already decided on the make-up.  I know it has to be good in humidity etc.  Not sure where to  start with so many choices out there.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

I know the one thing I was told is don't use a foundation that has SPF in it, it will make you look ghostly in photos. So apply sunscreen on your skin directly, then your makeup.

 

Personally, I would make an appointment at MAC (or similar) for a makeup lesson and hints. Plus they give you cheat sheets on how to apply makeup. My husband bought me some professional makeup lessons from a makeup artist and it was so helpful. Plus you can see how different colors look on you.

 

Important things- use a good primer and use waterproof mascara!

Hi ladies! Hope you are all doing great!!!

 

I received my favors/OOT bag goodies from an Etsy Vendor, Factory 21!!!  I was SO excited to come across these, as I originally wanted to do shot glasses. I opted out of the shot glasses b/c I was nervous about traveling with lots of glass favors! So I found these heavy duty plastic [bPA free] personalized travel mugs. They have a closure at the top that slides to allow a straw in & keep bugs/sun out!

What a beautiful job they did =) The font color is a bit lighter than this, but my phone takes horrible pictures of blues!

How long does the order take to arrive?

My FI is stressing me out BIG time, b/c he's relying on his suit guy to show him samples- that have not yet surfaced!! I think he's pushing it now that we're approaching the 2month mark with no suits! Who knew linen suits would be so hard to find, especially when all of the spring collections are already out?! Keep us posted when they arrive, would love to hear how they turned out :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
