I am going to say no. The pools although close are not right beside the plaza. So your guests might see them as they walk by, but it would not create ambiance for the reception. As well the pools are quite large, so I would imagine the candles might quickly float out of sight.

Hello lovely brides & brides-to-be!!!

Hope you're all doing well =D

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone's planning is going!

I think I'm going to start my planning thread- I have almost everything ordered & ready to go!

And I know it'll be hard to put it all together after at once, so is this a good idea to start now?

I just received our favors from Factory 21- AMAZING!! We decided on insulated custom-printed travel cups, which will be very useful for our guests! I'll be sharing pictures of all the favors, stationery, and decoration I've received thus far!

What are your DIY projects???

I'll be working on painting & writing out everyone's escort cards & table numbers this weekend.

I'm also hoping to get all the materials needed for our centerpieces. I can't believe how fast time is flying by!!! Almost 3 months away eek!

Well my FI and I really did not want to have a wedding registry, people are spending enough to be in Mexico with us. However, after continuous requests and discussions this is what we have come up with. We used Honeyfund.com they have a free version and a premium version for $39.00. We opted for the $39.00 just because we wanted people to be able to use their credit cards.

Wow I am so so sorry to read this crybaby2.gifI know we all plan for such a long time to make sure everything is done and that our weddings will be perfect. But you sharing this experiences just keeps us on our toes to make sure things are confirmed (never assume they will take care of it).

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
