If you are having a legal ceremony I don't know that you can do a Catholic Ceremony.  We did a symbolic ceremony and brought our own minister and had a full Lutheran service with communion and all, but I thought I understood from my WC that the legal ceremony was very specific and performed in Spanish.

Hello ladies, I am trying to lock in my wedding date. My wedding is going to this summer so I am rushing to get everything finalized. I have a conference call today with the wc and I was wondering if any of you have any advice as to what questions I need to ask. The date I am requesting to get married only has one time slot opne which is at 6:30pm on the beach! Do you guys think that would be a good time. I heard that there are sand fleas and I don't want my guests to get bite, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

I know there have been a few brides that have had a catholic ceremony- they have actually gone down the road to the little chapel located on the El Dorado Royale property (adults only). A Catholic ceremony MUST be held in a church or chapel and there is an additional charge for the minister. I just wanted to share this link with you. Although I have not yet decided on my resort, I was very pleased to find out that Azul Sensatori received the 2013 AAA Four Diamond Award. I figure this would make us feel even more comfortable when choosing Azul Sensatori as a venue for this special day woot.gif

As far as i know the maximum is 2 weddings per day, and they cannot use the same locations. (Ie. Same beach gazebo or reception location) so make sure to reserve your locations ASAP.

You likely won't be able to have the ceremony that late. They only offer certain times and that won't work with the reception/Spoons dinner offerings. You should decide where you'd like to hold your ceremony and reception as that may dictate times available to you.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
