I was thinking of just going the Vistaprint route for pre-wedding brochures. I can't find enough hours in the day to do anything myself lately LOL I'll be sure to share once I have a preview ready =) I bought a Groupon I paid $17 for it and it's $70 worth of goods from Vista! Wahoo!

Here's a link to my travel brochure: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/65791/pre-travel-brochure-for-mayan-riveria-cancun-using-word-photos-now-added-on-page-2

Lots of useful info you can use! I did this using Word, so it's easy to copy or change to your needs.

A few more questions ladies... With the beach gazebo which u get with peal package does anyone know what measurements I need to decorate the whole gazebo..I take it the organza is not included? And how do I make the acrylic beaded drapes for the gazebo as I've seen they all come attached to a curtain pole? Jade

Do you know if you will have to pay the $800 dollars for the outside vendor fee for both your photographer and DJ, since they are both outside vendors? Or, is it a one tme only fee?
I had to pay 800 per vendor! :/ Let me know if you hear differently bc it makes me sick to pay that much money for nothing.

welcome.gifElana to the forum!

When looking for a travel agent, search for one that is GI certified- they will be able to give you exclusive perks at the Karisma line of hotels.

http://www.karismahotels.com/GourmetInclusive  At the bottom of this webpage, there is a search function for a GI consultant.

Unfortunately yes, it's $800 per each vendor.  Because it also made me sick to think of spending $1600 on nothing, I decided to pay $800 for an outside photographer and then book the resort approved Guitar Trio as well use use our own music for the rest of the time of the reception.

Have fun planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
