Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I did Pashminas/Shawls/Scargs and everyone loved them. I was planning on getting ones that matched the wedding colors, but instead I bought several different colors and styles to try to fits a wide range of tastes. There were a huge hit and every time I see one of my guests now, they are wearing them. I bought mine at http://www.fashionunic.com/

Hi bubblez,

The quote I got for a smores bonfire from my Wedding Coordinator (Erika) was $16/person. Hope that helps!

Did you bring your own paper lanterns for the receptions?  If so, how much did the resort charge for setting it up? I want lanterns too and I want it to look like the picture below (so a lot). Do they charge per lantern or just a flat rate?

Does anyone know how much it cost for a bonfire?

It should not be very chilly at that time of year. But it might be a bit windy, so I am sure your guests would love the pashminas. If it fits in your budget I would think that would be great, but it is not necessary.

I am doing candles for the centerpieces. What are your thoughts on packing them and bringing them down? Think they will break?

Thanks!

Candles are beautiful. I would think travelling with them should be quite easy, just wrap them in bubble wrap to avoid breakage. My only caution for you- it is very windy at the resort (unless you plan an indoor reception)! I had tea lights, and they would not stay lit! So depending on the look, maybe try to find the battery operated ones.

PPMay2013- not sure why there is an issue with your post. But thank you for passing on the info.

For the bride looking for the price for the bonfire/smore party, she was quoted $16/person from her WC.

I'm wondering the same thing, except my wedding is in the middle of May.

I want to give mini tequila bottles for favors, does anyone know if :

1. They can be shipped there

2. Bring on the airplane?

Or buy them when I get there?

thanks!

You can not ship alcohol, unless you have permits and are willing to pay the customs and other fees. You might be able to bring some on the plane with you, as long as it falls under your allowable limit for booze (not sure what it is for Mexico). I would think you could buy them down there, but not sure exactly where or for how much. There are so many tourist shops around, I am sure you could make an arrangement with someone for lots of small tequila bottles.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
