Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Does anyone know how the Pick and Choose Dinner works vs. the Set Dinner Menu? If we do the Pick and Choose menu does every guest get to pick their own appetizer and dessert along with their entree or do we have to pick the app. and dessert before? Also are we able to pick three entrees? My FI and I loved the Surf and Turf but were hoping to do a chicken option and vegetarian option. Thanks for the help!

Hi - I happened to see this question, and I'm an EDR bride working with Lomas. We are doing the Pick & Choose dinner. The guests pick their entree ahead of time, and you choose 1 appetizer and 1 dessert that is served to everyone. We were able to offer a pasta dish to our vegetarian guests in addition to the main 2 entree choices, with the understanding that everyone didn't pick from 3 options. We only have 2 vegetarian guests, so it's been a non-issue.

We were also able to choose entrees from the Pick & Choose dinner menu, and appetizers and desserts from the Pick & Choose lunch menu (I wasn't excited about the apps and dessert choices on the dinner menu).

We have to bring place cards in order to let the wait staff know which guest gets which entrees. We used our RSVPs to gather entree selection (and most of my guests did a great job with it, but a few we had to follow up with and ask).

hope that helps!

Hey Ladies.. I have a question.  I decided to do the sky wedding and it says that it comes with the Karisma honeymoon registry.  Isn't it free anyway to sign up?  Are they throwing in the service fees as part of the package or is it just a fancy way of thinking I'm getting something that's free anyway?

Also, is there a choice of Gazebo's for sky weddings or just the one that's in the pictures?

Thank you so much!

Just remember what is most important that day and it will be perfect!  Or at least that's what I keep reminding myself :)

I've been trolling the boards for a while during planning, but just realized we have the same wedding date!!  I'm sure we will run into eachother at AS.  I'm SO excited and it's still months away, I cannot wait!

Wedding twin! We're on the beach at 4 and then at Plaza Zavas at 6:30. Where is yours? We're arriving on the 2nd and leaving the 11th.

I am interested in this also, I am doing the sky wedding as well. I am unsure about the Gazebo options, but I know the area is only accessed by one elevator from what I heard.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
