We set up our wedding page through www.mywedding.com. Super easy and free. There are a few other good sites, some being free and some costing a fee.  I would shop around and see the sample pages. There might be a sample that jumps out at you.

Happy Planning!!!! cheers.gif

We decided on Azul Sensatori woot.gif

Hello Ladies,

I'm new to this site, getting married November 8, 2013.  I'm in the early stages of planning and haven't picked a location for our reception yet but i've found some great information on here.  Need to look at the different options again.  I was sent what seemed like a manual or something from the WC detailing all the different menus and such with pricing but when you select a private reception does that have a seperate charge on top of the per plate pricing? Does the price barydepending on which location you chose for the private reception?

What are you ladies doing about photography?  I'm really stressing aout a good photographer.  I've seen some nice pictures but they all havppen to be outside vendors.

Thanks for the info ladies and happy planning.

Jess

Hey ladies, I was curious if you could give me some info. I want to bring certain things with us on the plane, such as decorations, maraccas, etc.  Does anyone know if they don't allow certain things on the plane??  I don't wanna get in trouble for bringing maraccas and other items in my suitcase. Thanks again.

Hi,

My name is Louise and my other half and I got engaged last Tuesday in New York (yey!!) and are now looking at getting married in Mexico in 2013.

I am looking at 2 hotels/resorts, Azul Sensatori and the Moon Palace - both look gorgeous but I must say I have stayed at the Moon Palace back in 2004 and absolutely loved it. However! I have seen some beautiful photos of a wedding that took place 2 years ago at the Sensatori and now im torn :(

The only travel agent who has Sensatori in the UK is Thomson. I visited my local shop a couple of months ago to book a holiday and just happened to bring up the Sensatori in conversation. Of course the girls get to visit these places or have even had a holiday there them selves and sadly, they didn't have a high opinion of it and said there are much better hotels in Mexico (Moon Palace being one of them). I like the look of the wedding I saw on pictures last night on this site but the tour operator told me to go elsewhere (and that was just when i was thinking about having a holiday there! a wedding is even more important!).

I wanted to ask brides who have got married there or who have booked to have your wedding there, what made you decide on the Sensatori and how did your wedding turn out? tips, words of advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks x

Welcome to all the new brides. This thread has been super helpful with planning the wedding.

Thanks to everyone who post ideas, shares their thoughts and is supportive. Planning a destination wedding was a little harder than I thought, but this thread made it easier.

I am leaving tomorrow morning! Time does fly and I can't believe its finally here! Woo woo! Time to go get married :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
