Recommended Posts

tkuzma - Thank you so much for the recipe! Can't wait to try it out! sounds yummy!!!! thanks again!!!!

Jenny - Soo sorry your WC is taking so long to get back to you. Honestly, I have not been experiencing the same. My WC in Fl, is Erika Torres and she is great! At most she may take 3 days. But in the beginning she responded right away. Maybe you can change WC?

If you go to ebay and type in the search "coil bracelets" and "Vertical Transparent Plastic Card ID BAdge Holders Zip-Lock Top".  I planned on removing the whistles and attaching the coil bracelets to the badge holder, which I am using as room key/money holder for guests. Since guests are placing money and room key in it, I decided to get the ones that have a zip-top so it stays securely inside the holder.  Also, I plan on having printing something off of Vistaprint to place in the holders..not sure what design I am doing yet, but the standard business card size will fit in these holders. Unfortunately I do not know about the bracelets at Oriental trading.

Has anyone used the coil bracelets from oriental trading co?  Very inexpensive but wondering if they are too small for adults wrists.

My husband and I were married at the Azul in October, and we just went on a babymoon (I am due in September) at the El Dorado, but we stayed at the Royale side vs. in the Casitas.

:)

Exciting!

Thanks so much for your input- this does make me feel a bit better! But, I guess it's my mentality, I'm a native NY'er and I like things done right away & everything is ASAP lol So I guess either I have to be OK with it or change WC. I'll see how it goes thanks =)

Thanks so much for your advice =) I have been sending her a bulk of questions at once, but it's funny b/c as soon as I send that, she responds to another one of my emails from 2 weeks ago ugh!!

I'll see how it works out and decide if I should ask for another WC.

If you feel you really should be getting faster responses, ask to switch WC.  Elizabeth Riff is fantastic!!  Even if my questions weren't pressing, she'd get back to me quickly; even one time emailing me that she was traveling but would respond on xx date.  I would definitely stack the questions all together and email the set so she can research and get back to you unless it's something very time sensitive.  Sounds like you're not expecting much and not getting anywhere near that so I wouldn't hesitate to ask for a change in WC.  Worst they can say is 'no.'  And I agree with doing it all over email so it's in "writing."  I didn't make any phone calls.

hello brides,

i am recently engaged and have started searching on where to get married.  Sensatori keeps coming back to me as the best location even though i'm trying to branch out and look at other places to compare.  I'm sure you guys all did that too. What made you choose Sensatori as your final decision?  is everyone happy with this decision so far or were there other places in the area that you wish you would have looked at a bit more.  I would appreciate any advice you can offer to someone who just got engaged 2 weeks ago but is ready to start making some wedding planning decisions.

oh one more question,  how far in advance did you book your wedding with sensatori?  is a february/march wedding do-able if i start planning now? thanks so much  you guys.

Chelsey

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
