er reservation for up to 40 guests at Spoon International.  I have attached what the menu card looks like.

Thanks for posting this!  We are having our dinner at Spoon and I was wondering what this looked like.  I considered doing our own menus but decided it just wasn't that important for 15 of us.

Murmel, do you by chance have any of pics of the jewellery you bought while in Mexico? I'm sure it is beautiful, I'm just trying to get a sense of the style :)

Anyone have a recommendation for a store/website for cake decorating accessories? I was hoping for white flowers, but I don't want to pay what I'm sure is an outrageous fee for real flowers through Lomas!

I have pictures of the jewelry in my planning journal. We also included a silver necklace for the pendant (but I don't have a photo of that, but it was a very simply chain). The earrings were about 1 1/2" long, and I think were the most expensive at $25-30 a pair (I can't remember the exact price), the pendant was about $15. Remember to bargain hard, and if you get multiple items at the same stand they usually cut you a good deal.

Hope that helps.

Just wanted to share this sample bout I just received from Water Me Not. Not sure which bride suggested Water Me Not, so thank you to whoever suggested this company. I love it and think it is perfect since i really do not want to pay an arm and a leg for real flowers through Lomas. The bout is approx $17.50 and my calla lilies bouquet will be approx $110. I believe Lomas is charging 3x that amount!

Ladies - out of curosity, how much are your guests paying for a 3 night stay at AS? I know the pricing is a bit different depending on the section, but I just wanted to get a ballpark amount. Thx!

My wedding travel agent books the rooms through Funjet.com. I did not block out rooms as I did not want to put a deposit down on the rooms and worry about everyone's travel arrangements. For the regular jacuzzi suite, the price has been between $155-$175 a night.

Funjet has a lowest price guarantee, so even though many of my guests have booked their rooms by putting down a $50 deposit, when the price comes down all they have to do is call or email my travel agent and they will lock into the lower price. I keep an eye out on the pricing and have already emailed my guests twice when there have been price drops.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
