Thanks for that tip! At this point, I'm thinking we'll have anywhere between 30-50 guests- probably on the lower end though.  Is there no other indoor location for a private reception?

 I started reading this thread from the very beginning (I'm currently on page 763 cheesy.gif), and I like that the brides to be kept a list of the upcoming weddings.  Are you ladies interested in restarting it? Just an idea!

Hey ladies, I know you don't know me very well because I just recently joined, but I was hoping you could help a fellow bride out!

 

I just entered a contest in which the prize is a trip to NYC to shop for your wedding dress at Kleinfeld's.  I'm obsessed with Say Yes to the Dres, so it would be a dream come true to win!

 

The contest has selected 27 brides and now the public votes (one vote per day) until May 14, and the bride with the most votes will be announced the winner on May 21. I'd greatly appreciate if you could vote! I will try to repay the favor in any way possible!

Indoor reception options:

1) Spoon- they section off an area within the restaurant with curtains. (maximum I think was about 60 people)

2) There are 2 ballrooms located in the main lobby building. Both are very plain hotel ballrooms. The one towards the front does have a lovely balcony where your guests can step out for fresh air (or a smoke) (both would handle up to a 100 guests or more)

3) Zoloco Terrace is a covered area- it is not actually indoors. It faces the ocean and they have very large blinds(?) which get lowered when it's super windy to help block the wind. Maximum is about 35-40 people.

4) the Italian restaurant has a small private function room. But I think the maximum is 12 people.

 

That's all the spots I am aware of. Hope that helps.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
