Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Very exciting amanda! We are also planning on having about that many guests and I was concerned that there would be limited spaces to hold that many for a reception. Where is yours planned? What menu did you pick out for that many? I did not expect this many people to be able to go so I am getting worried about space and budgets.

Thanks
Rachel

Hi past and present AS brides! I'm getting married on Sept 29, 2012 on the sky terrace. Does anyone have recommendations for photographers on the more budget side? With the huge $800 outside vendor fee, 'm considering Caribe Photo based on their price. Can anyone provide a review for Caribe Photo?

Thanks!

Hello,

Only 42 days to go... Bonfire question - did you rent the ipod docking station or the amplifier sound system? I was planning on only using the docking station (cuz it's cheaper) but my w/c says it won't be loud enough. We will be aprox. 30 ppl. What did you use for the bonfire?

Hi ladies. We are planning to fly our DJ down and rent an amp. Has anyone else done that, that could tell me if it's loud enough and if you need additional speakers with that? We are planning to bring down mini Bose speakers for the beach BBQ the night before and the cocktail hour and use the amp for the reception. Also we have a lot of family in Europe who will not be able to travel to the wedding. Has anyone had the hotel set up skype on the beach or done it themselves so family who could not attend can still see the ceremony? I know it's an option on the Sky Terrace but not sure for beach. Thanks!!

Hi ladies,

We are having the reception on the beach - we're at 99 total guests (FINAL!).  We are offering chicken, steak, or a vegetarian dish.

I reserved the Maroma Beach catamaran through Lomas at $54 per person (includes appetizers, drinks, r/t transfer from hotel).

Regarding the ipod docking station - we are purchasing one on our own and bringing it with us since renting one is the same price!!  I don't think you need to rent an amp for your bonfire - it may just be a waste of a few hundred dollars... but that's just my opinion.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
