Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi Girls,

I am a newbie so apologies if I am doing the wrong thing in the wrong place. I have been lurking for a while, my head is buzzing with all sort of great things you have suggested... and think you are all great for sharing and posting.

I have a few questions regarding Sensatori and need guidance...please.

1. We are going with silver beach package; does this mean I still need to add on the bamboo sticks that make the gazebo? $700? Sorry to be dippy...it is not that clear to me on the lomas website, the silver package just mentions the runner and chairs.

2. Does anybody have any thoughts on the different styling of the Exotic or premium deluxe gazebo? Huge different in pricing and just not sure.

3. On the sheer fabric, how many do we need for the sides and top? White is fine for us.

4. Are they happy for us to bring our own decorations too? Would they charge to set this up for us?  Nothing big just some things to make it our day ours.

5. Has anybody had the gold package? Is it worth the extra?

I am sorry if the above have already been answered...one thousand plus posts on this thread and I am working my through them!

Look forward to your replies.

Big love

Lorraine xx

Sorry...I haven't been on for a while... I'm sorry what I meant was the order during the ceremony---like vows, ring exchange, sand ceremony...for example when is the sand ceremony performed, at the end?? Sorry if I'm being confusing :(

Hello all...

I've been trying to skim through these threads for a little while now and have a question that may be rhetorical/redundant/odd etc...but is the Azul Sensatoria and the Azul FIVES the same place? Or connected in some way?

My fiance and I are considering the fives (recommended by our TA) and we absolutely love the look of the azul fives, but everyhing i've been trying to research on this palce brings me back to the sensatori.

Thanks for any of your help!

TK,

Azul sensatori and Azul Fives are different hotels. If you go onto the Karisma web page it will show the difference between the two.

Azul Fives is a newer hotel so there is less information available on that hotel.

Both look wonderful! Difficult to decide between.

Happy picking.

Hi! I'm getting married there in three weeks, and I can tell you that:

1) - The gazebo stands there permenantly, so I wouldn't pay any extra for bamboo (not quite sure what that is)

2) - I didn't pay for the exotic gazebo. I just added sheers and corsages. Cheaper for sure.

3) - You will need two. They'll cover the top and sides.

4) - You can bring down your own decorations, but I understand they (sometimes) charge a set-up fee. It varies and can be inconsistent. I would budget for ~$150.00 for a set-up fee just in case.

5) - I originally had the gold package, and the only real difference is a gift or something like that. Silver was enough for us.

Hope that helps!

Hey,

I'm getting married there in 2 weeks. (eep!!)

1- I'm getting married on the skydeck but i know, as it was stated earlier, it's always there.
2- I am bringing my own sheers and I paid for a large arrangement ($60) to be put in the center.

3- You can ask your TA for measurements, I know for the skydeck they had a diagram.

4- You can bring your own and they will charge you depending on how much there is to set up, they told us it would be a max of $250

5- We went with the free package as we had enough guests :)

hope this helps.

To anyone that has already been to the FIVES or the SENSATORI – how is the ocean?? A lot of reviews (even the great reviews) I have read say that while the resort is beautiful, the ocean is not really swim-able….is this true???

Although we love the fives (pictures only) we donâ€t really see a point in having a destination wedding if you canâ€t enjoy the ocean

@ Kerry Okay thanks...I was confused bc my fiance and I really liked the Sky bar for a rooftop reception as as surprise for our guests after a beach wedding, but we keep seeing the sky bar as something in relation to both the sensatori and the fives...

THANKS AGAIN!!!

Hi Thomas,

In Azul Sensatori the Sky Deck is only for ceremonies. We are having our ceremony there and moving on to Plaza Zavaz. Not sure about the Azul Fives tho.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
