I feel excited too!!! I'm getting married on the beach at 4:30 and yes I am the one that booked the Zavas Plaza :)  What time do you get married?  The palapa yoga seems very nice as well, it was my second choice.  What days will you be at the resort?  We are there from April 18-25.  I really hope we will have time to meet and possibly have a drink!!!

Wow..that sounds like so much fun!!!! and WOW...25 days left!!!!   The count down is SERIOUSLY on!!!

 

Sounds like you know what your doing for your OOT bags already anyway, so shouldn't be too overwhelming!!!

Keep us updated on everything....hope all is going super smooth so far...

I just got the call.....MY DRESS IS IN!!!!  :)

 

I am very excited...have even knocked a bunch of stuff off my list in the past few weeks, including...

 

-DIY luggage tags

-Decorated brown/rattan paper bags with DIY flower punchouts that I hot glued on (all 30 bags) *I am doing one per single/couple

-DIY Wedding Survival Kits, and have almost filled them too!!!  (just need to find cheap SPF chapstick from a name brand, no luck so far)

-DIY table numbers (we did double sided picture frames of us at the age of the table) us at 1 for table 1 etc. *I LOVE these....

-designed the pre-travel CD entitled "get ready Mexico"...and had all the wedding party/parents pick a song to get them pumped up for our trip (will go out with luggage tag and pre-travel brochure I am working on- hopefuly Second week in September they will be in the mail)

-DIY key card holders....just looking for cheap tan colored lanyards now...no such luch yet

-IN THE WORKS - welcome booklet/DIY ceremony paddle fans/Gift&Pashmina tags I am DIYing/Menu cards-including belly belts

ORDERED-custom ties, finally!!!  and we are ordering custom suits for the guys from studio suits in the next week....I now need shoes/hair accessory and jewelry for myself!!!  (oh and clip in extensions)

 

ALSO...my boudoir photographer just bailed on me, so am crossing fingers for another T.O. photographer that looks great to get back to me soon with a "for sure, we have space"!!!!!

WHEW....OH, and I FINALLY decided on my menu/flowers/decor for ceremony......

 

NOW...just need to get through this weekend (its Chris' bachelor party...he was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and had a seisure in front of me- not good, trust me- and it was due to lack of sleep and withdrawl from alcohol, so I am having a mini nervous breakdown about him getting fed too many drinks!!!  - so my lovely girls are taking me away for a girls night at the cottage so I don't freak out alone)  :)

 

Just a week or so until our 2 month count down...I am feeling pretty good!  msnwink.gif

Wow you're so close!!!!!!!!!! Beach Olympics sounds awesome!! May have to steal that idea!!!  You seem to have everything under control so don't stress and enjoy these last few days!!!!

You must be so excited about the dress! Can't wait to see pictures :) And congrats on making so much progress on your DIY projects! It's a great feeling to have things done and checked off the list.

 

And fun with your girlfriends, try not to worry to much, your FI friends will look out for their buddy! Congrats on the weight loss too! That's fantastic.

We arrive on the 16th and we are there until 30th. We will definitely get together and have a celebration drink cheers.gif We get married on the beach at 3pm. They not giving us much time between wedding's!!! we will probs be in each others wedding photo's going by that time difference!....ha ha! Im sure it will be fine! Have you got many travelling with you? There are 17 booked with us, some people are unsure if they can afford it and might not  be able to go. Hope they can! Have you booked your photographer? We are still unsure on who we are having. I have caribe in with the wedding package but have heard bad comments, just trying to sort out which one we are going to use x

Well done m wise, you have done lots of diy work! Enjoy going to try on your dress again! hope your oh has a good bachelor party and keeps safe, try to relax and enjoy your time away too. x

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
