Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Well I'd better bloody hurry up and find something to do with it as 150 ft of tulle is probably a tad too much for the gazebo.  Hmmm, maybe tulle swimming trunks for the men - gaggerific (no one wants to see that, although it is almost better than the speedo option).

Really, how could I pass up on that much tulle for $26 delivered to Canada, as it is a whole lot easier for you lucky US brides to get the good stuff.

I may be making tulle gifts all year long.

Your WC should send you a Credit Card payment form if I remember correctly that I had to fill out and fax to Miami. She then sent me a email letting me know they recieved it and charged my card. My Travel Agent was on the email as well

Totally forgot to post about the OOT bags!

OK, so we did bags for everyone, when really we should have just done 1 per room. We spent a ton of money on them, and a lot of time as we hand stamped everything. Only two people used them throughout our trip, but people appreciated meds, sunblock, aloe vera, and candies. Really, I'm not sure if it was worth it but you have to get your guests SOMETHING for going through all this trouble and expense. I'm glad I did it but if you could think of something else...

I also did 1 per room and it was alot less work. I put koozies, lip balm, a cup and info for the wedding in it and that was it. People used the bags alot

Has anyone purchased one of the gazebo packages? We're going to go with the exotic gazebo but haven't seen any pictures from other brides. We might leave out the sheers on the posts though, not quite sure how I feel about them yet. Anyone have pictures or did anyone see different set ups while you were there? Thanks

I've ordered turquoise and then another 120 ft of tiffany blue (270 ft of tulle for $57 total - not bad but I may have to seriously look at finding some other uses!)

I live in a small village called Sharon, which is just above Newmarket but I did work in TO at Yonge and Wellesly until recently.

You are so welcome!  I'm glad you found it helpful.  We had the bottom of the line room, and our upgrade was suppose to be to the jr. swim up suite.  The white party was awesome.  We were supposed to have 38 guests, but one did not make it.  I have seven of the runners.  You can PM me with your email address for acces to my kodak easyshare or friend me one facebook "Sherylle Gant" to see some pics.  Still no professional pics yet.  No video highlights from Cancun Video yet either.  I will send you that link when I get it so you can see our ceremony set up and reception set up.

Thank you for the thorough review! It sounds like you had a great overall experience - well done! I love the shot of tequila before walking down the isle!! We're doing a white welcome party as well, should be fun! A couple questions - What type of room had you originally booked? How many guests did you have? How many silver runners did you have (my colors are gray and yellow so I'm considering silver runners). Thanks!

You're welcome.  2 out of 3 sisters had a great time, but I was aiming for all 3.  The Miami office did reimburse me for the cupcakes!  You can either PM me your email address of friend me on facebook "Sherylle Gant."

I have a feeling that once I get down there I won't really be stressing and feel like everything will just fall into place. I'm sorry to hear about the cupcakes, that is a huge bummer but hopefully they will reimburse for this. I would love to see pictures from your wedding, do you have an account or anything set up?

I saw some couples have the cocktail hours on the beach and everyone looked happy!

I am going to have a cocktail hour on the beach (maybe more like a cocktail hour and a half)....but by the looks of past pics, there is no where to sit during this time.  I am worried it is too long to not have seating as an option....is there an option?  was this an issue for any of you that have had the cocktail hour on the beach?

:)

I had the deluxe exoctic gazebo, but I only had them use 3 sheers as I wanted a certain look with 3 hanging corsages and the 4th on our table with a memory candle, the sand unity and a white and silver table runner.  If you would like to see, you can PM mewith your email and I will send a photo.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
