Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

At the moment there are 29 of us but 5 of those are kids and they'll want to be off doing their own thing, especially as it is Halloween, which is the second consideration as we don't know if there will be more going on at the hotel that night anyway (holds head in hands - oh the conundrum).

I bought the Auburn 20 inch then my hairdresser here in the states and I dyed them and cut them and did a trial. I wore them out a couple nights too just test run

I will say no matter what time of year there were LOTS of kid activities for all ages.

We had an 18 month old at our wedding and she was in love with the kids pull. I did see a ton a "teen" age kids hang out in the Teen breeze clud during the day when we would wander around

We have 29 as well, including 7 kids from age 4 to 14.  On another topic, does anyone know the drinking age in Mexico?  I'm thinking 18 for some reason, but I don't know where I might have seen that.

Ok ladies, Got my photos from Cairbe Photography and I AM NOT IMPRESSED. I did get over 600 pictures which was a positive but I would say less than 20% are useable. http://maggieandjaywedding.shutterfly.com/  I posted the best 100 and even then they really aren't that impressive. I am so glad I had my mom their as backup.

I wouldn't use them again but also I did get what I paid for. i had a tight budget and i couldn't afford to bring someone with us and pay them or go with another Mexico photographer and pay the outside vendor fee.

I did love the photographer they sent. I guess he just doesn't take good photos.

Between the ones I like from them and my mom's I should be able to put together a very decent Album!

Just wanted to put my experience out there!

Karla these both look great. I have the same idea about buying the bags and doing the Iron on trasnfer's. What color pink ribbon are you using on the fans and how many do you have? Would you be interesting in selling just the fans with the ribbon to me after your wedding? Our color is pink as well :)

Hopefully this works better.  We got the bags from cheaptotes.com, .99 each.  We bought iron on transfers from Michaels.  We did screw up the first 2, so I'd recommend buying a few extra sheets if you want to try this. I got the fan idea from orientaltrading.com.  We still need to tie a pink ribbon around the handle, but you get the idea.

I am so excited and I can't wait to come back and post my photos and review for you all to see. I have been addicted to this site for months now and I just love, love, LOVE looking at everyone's pictures. I have never seen one bride who didn't look beautiful, so that calms me a little bit! lol

Thanks to all the past Brides for all the info and tiny details you added here....for my type A, control freak personality this site has been a godsend. I feel like I have already done a site visit! For all of you just starting out and finding this thread, I suggest (yes it takes days) but go back to the start of this thread and read through! All and I really mean ALL of your questions about lights, lanterns, number of steps down the isle, to the number of outlets at Zavas Plaza will be answered! Also, read the planning journals (my personal fav) there are some truly great ideas on there. ANd nice photos too!

Our photographer is Sweet Caribbean so if anyone else is using them or considering them, email me after the wedding and I will let you know how they were. But so far they have been really terrific to work with.

Ok so see you all when I am a married woman!

Maggie I love the photo from your mum's album (23 of 77) and by the way you look beautiful in all the photos.  Your mum certainly has an eye for photography, she should be hiring herself out!  Do you remember the name of the photographer and does anyone have the name of a photographer they did like from Caribe Photo?

The bags turned out great!  I got a quote from cheaptotes.com to screen-print the bags for $3.00/bag for a multi-color design (a pretty good price for screen-printing, in my limited experience), so I think I'm gonna go that route because my DIY skills are not strong.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
