I am using clip in extensions (10 inch) just for extra volume...I will let you know how they go when I get back!

Is anyone doing hair extensions?   I was going to buy clip ins and have my hair down (not outrageously longer then my shoulder length, just a bit) but since all of you have described the beach as super windy, I am going to have an up-do.  But I still want my hair to look thicker....

Can you have clips in and still do an up-do?

:)

I am so excited and I can't wait to come back and post my photos and review for you all to see. I have been addicted to this site for months now and I just love, love, LOVE looking at everyone's pictures. I have never seen one bride who didn't look beautiful, so that calms me a little bit! lol

Thanks to all the past Brides for all the info and tiny details you added here....for my type A, control freak personality this site has been a godsend. I feel like I have already done a site visit! For all of you just starting out and finding this thread, I suggest (yes it takes days) but go back to the start of this thread and read through! All and I really mean ALL of your questions about lights, lanterns, number of steps down the isle, to the number of outlets at Zavas Plaza will be answered! Also, read the planning journals (my personal fav) there are some truly great ideas on there. ANd nice photos too!

Our photographer is Sweet Caribbean so if anyone else is using them or considering them, email me after the wedding and I will let you know how they were. But so far they have been really terrific to work with.

Ok so see you all when I am a married woman!

Here is the website I got them from - Her name is sara and she is really nice

That's great to know as the budget is an issue.  We're having dinner in Spoons so I'm not sure whether there is somewhere they'll let us set up afterwards if we're not having a reception elsewhere.  I'm glad I found this site as you're all offering useful tips, thanks!

No, we're not having a DJ.  Just the dinner at Spoons, then we'll head off to one of the bars.

Hopefully this works better.  We got the bags from cheaptotes.com, .99 each.  We bought iron on transfers from Michaels.  We did screw up the first 2, so I'd recommend buying a few extra sheets if you want to try this. I got the fan idea from orientaltrading.com.  We still need to tie a pink ribbon around the handle, but you get the idea.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
