Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Apologies in advance because I know this question has been answered at least 15 times.

For those that have been ... how strict is the dress code at the restaurants? I know Le Chique is pretty formal and Spoons is more casual. What about all the others? I'm thinking for the guys, I can count on all my guests to be in shorts and flip flops so I'll need to send out a mass ALERT before our wedding. What about pants and flip flops? Shorts and shoes? Will they REALLY turn guests away if they look decent enough? Are we ladies safe wearing pretty much anything (aside from swimsuit/wraps)? Thank you!

Any other advice for what to advise guests of ahead of time? I read in a review about a timeshare "scam" - hate those - so I'll add something about that. I'm thinking of creating a one page flyer of some sort and emailing it to everyone a few weeks out.

Ha ha ha, I forgot about the video!  My husband is a goofball and we had a blast that night.

The water on the boat is in Cancun, so it is very blue and gorgeous!  The hotel water is prettier in person (not a bright turquoise but better than the pics) but depending on the cloud coverage, your pics will either look like mine, or a little better.

The water at AS is darker b/c of the seaweed and coral that's there.  And thanks for the compliment.  My daughter is a little ham. :)  She had her 8th grade formal last week.  Ugh, so not ready for high school!!  Here's a pic.  :)

Oh, and I just thought of another pic I just got that's funny!  I bartend on the weekends and our barback always says that myself and my other friend and bartender are "washed up" b/c we don't party as hard.  Well, at my wedding, he passed out.... So, this is one of the pics he got!

So awesome!!!

Pics look amazing....especially the water in the boat shots.  Is the water in front of the hotel really as dark as it looks?  It seems all pics off boats make it look crystal blue, but the land shots make it look like a lake!?

:)

You and your daughter are very cute!  (pic standing on swings)

:)

Copied and pasted the second one onto my "wedding stuff" page.  I will try it this summer and see how it goes!

Thanks so much...it got good reviews on the Sephora page too!

They were not that strict at all while we were there. I think my husband wore pants to the Tapas place and that was it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
