OMG! I got all choked up, that was beautiful!

You're seriously making me consider a videographer now...I just hate myself on video. But I'd love to have it captured like you did.

Questions...

Where'd the guys get their suits? Our colors are grey and yellow and the boys will be in grey.

The resort did your bouquet? It looks great, do you mind me asking how much "extra" it was?

Who was your DJ? Doremixx?

They allowed sparklers on the beach?! AS doesn't allow them at all, I heard, so that's very interesting....

Thanks for sharing your video with us!

$60 is the starting prices for their Champagnes, and its actually pretty comparable to any nice restaurant (of course most nice restaurants dont have an all inclusive daily fee on top!)  but Amy is right, Sparkling Wine is included.  Unless your guests are huge champagne drinkers, they wont know the difference.

If you want a nicer bottle of champagne for your toast, you can also bring your own and pay a $25 corking fee.  Its much cheaper that way if you want Veuve or something like that.

Questions...

Where'd the guys get their suits? Our colors are grey and yellow and the boys will be in grey.  We got the suits at a store called Karako.  They were I believe $100 each.  And then just white shirts from Macys or Lord and Taylor

The resort did your bouquet? It looks great, do you mind me asking how much "extra" it was? My bouquet was the freesia/orchid one from Lomas (the hotel) it was $250

Who was your DJ? Doremixx? We brought the DJ and MC from home and then rented the equipment from DJ Mannia who worked the lights.  However DJ Mannia is no longer allowed at the hotel but we used him b/c he had the biggest light up dance floor and we had a large group (75).

They allowed sparklers on the beach?! AS doesn't allow them at all, I heard, so that's very interesting.... The sparklers we got from mannia too.  I have no clue if they are allowed or not..lol we didn't ask.

Makeup was done by hotel staff - Dolores.  She was really cute and nice.  My friend applied my fake lashes though.  Hair - one of my guests is a hair stylist so she did it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
