Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Your right...as long as she is staying 3+ nights theres no outside vendor fee.  Regarding cost of travel...will you be booking her flights/room, or will she book it and charge you for it?  The "traveling costs" can get you if you dont know how much itll be in advance.

$1000 is a great price...especially if you like her style and own the rights.  At my vegas wedding, they tried to charge me $900 for the rights to my photos (and it was only 45 minutes of photography...50 photos!).  Needless to say, i did NOT purchase the rights to them.

Do you have more details of everything included with the package?  Sounds like a great deal!

Also, maybe check with others getting married before or after you in case they want to share travelling costs :)

Hi ladies I did not have a private reception - I did the basic spoon restaurant package which is included and the food was GREAT. We got to chose our menu. I did see a few private receptions by the pool which was cute but to be honest it's a lot of money for a private event and your guests may head in early because it's a long day. I did have a private cocktail hour on the beach for my guests. It was $150 for 20 of us and the food was fantastic. Just got basic appetizers but they were filling. It also included our our private bartender for 2 hours. Worth the money. We brought an iPod and our own mini speakers for music As for the wedding music I brought my iPod and they played the music for me. You will need 4 songs, the procession for you and for groom, for the signing of the documents plus sand ceremony and for the end. I gave the wedding planners my iPod the day of. For anyone wanting a down hairdo I would suggest against it. I wanted a down do but it was way to wind for it and even the spa suggested I do an up do. For gift bags we did a welcome letter, a bag in our colors, SPF lip balm, a wedding passport book, personalized plastic mugs for drinks, fans, water, gum, disposable waterproof cameras and SPF sunblock. The big hit was the cameras and sunblock. All our guests forgot sunblock and ALL of the eventually needed it. Premium room amenities was our own swim up pool and hot tub on the patio, aromatherapy every night, personal concierge which came in handy, aromatherapy bath products picked by us, premium guest cocktail hour and immediate service. If you can splurge I would splurge on the premium swim up jacuzzi suite. SO SO SO worth it.

TLGnchi - your before & after pictures are amazing! You really worked it out girl :) What type of workout schedule did you have? How far in advance did you start? I am going to be traveling for work the next 3 months. So will only have 8 weeks before the wedding to kick my butt into shape. I'm not too worried about it because I just need to tone up! But seriously you should be proud of yourself!!

Congrats on finding a great deal for a photographer!!  That's awesome, and a big one in my opinion!! :o)

Thank you so much for the compliment!!  I have been working out religiously for years but the wedding really prompted me to amp it up!  The first step is eating better (or should I say, just not eating whatever I want, when I want).  I just try to incorporate more good foods, yogurt, fruits, healthy snacks (since I'm a serious snacker) and cut back on the chocolate.  I ate pretty healthy as far as meals already.  The before pic was taken in January which was when I really started focusing on losing some weight for the wedding.  My friend and I started this "wedding bootcamp."  It's essentially the following:  Start with a warm up to get your muscles warm, like walking lunges, squats or something.  Then do abs, say 3 exercises in sets.  Then we would do weights.  We never really followed this completely but I have learned that heavy weights are better than the light and more reps option.  This part of the program is about 45 minutes.  Then, we go and do about 30 minutes of cardio.  I have also been doing a class once a week that is a killer with tons of cardio.  For the last month I have gotten in the habit of going to the gym 5 days a week, where before 3 was my tops.  So, while I have kinda started eating bad again, I have four and a half weeks to go so I gotta get back to it!!

I lost almost 8 pounds since January, and I didn't have too much to lose so it's been great.  I am very happy with the changes!! :o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
