Some updates for me.  Picked up my band for my ring and the coloring was all different.  So, they are doing something called rhodium plating which I'm hoping makes them look like they actually go together (they weren't officially a set).  Here's a pic.

I started working on a welcome book last night, and programs the other night.  So, I'm hoping these things work out.  I had designed menus myself and had them printed through Vista and I don't love them.  They're too big I think, and they printed matte, which I hadn't thought about.  :(  Boo, all these learning curves but I guess I'm stuck with them and if no one knows otherwise, they won't care the least little bit. 

 

My FI's bachelor party is this weekend in Atlantic City so I'm gonna have to keep myself busy.  I do have my shower on Sunday though, so that's exciting.  And our legal day is one month from yesterday!  Yay.  Can't believe it's all finally coming together!  Still a ton to do though, that's for sure!!

Ladies, my FI found strands of Christmas Lights online for like $7 a strand. DO NOT pay the high resort prices!

 

I leave 3 weeks from today!

 

We paid our final payment, but now I feel like I want to include more things... I guess I can do it when I get there?

 

Thanks for the reminder about the CASH only for the set up fee, I wasn't planning to bring much with me, but now I will.

 

I'm still in search of laterns (any ideas where to look?)

We are going to AS for 6 nights and Secrets for 4 nights. One of my coworkers went to Secrets for his honeymoon and said the sushi was awesome so my FI just had to go there. Plus we wanted a resort with a nice beach, which we aren't getting with AS, so this will work!

 

Secrets Maroma looks GORGEOUS too!  I would love to go to either of the resorts you all have mentioned.  How long are you guys doing your honeymoon for?

Do you feel like that all your WC did was push you to pay? I was trying to finalize my spreadsheet and make sure she had everything correct before I paid and felt all she cared about was getting the money. I even called to tell her what to change and it was basically worthless. I didn't mind my WC until lately. She seems to be such a space cadet! And now I don't hear back from her on my emails since she got my money!

I will say that though i haven't paid yet my payment is due on March 31 and she is getting pushy about the payment.

Hey Maggie, When do you expect your BD pics back?  I still haven't gotten mine back and it's driving me bonkers!  I asked for a sneak peek.  She sent me two, one where my face wasn't even showing and one of my belly (showing my BBring).  Hope those weren't the two best!!

Hi ladies, i just got back from my amazing wedding at Azul Sensatori and you guys are in GREAT hands. I was nervous on how things would turn out but the staff was amazing and the decor was STUNNING. if you all have any questions let me know but I can assure you that they will take care of you. We had a private cocktail hour the day before the wedding and we had kids traveling with us. I also am attaching some pictures of my bouquet from there as well as my bridesmaids bouquet and the gazebo setup

She told me I would get a glimpse in a week or so. She told me I would have my BD book for the FI by May 1

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
