The bouquets look fine from the top. The plastic holder does its job. I took ribbon with me, and my bridemaids wrapped my bouquet and it looked wonderful! 224383721215_0_ALB.jpg

Does anyone know what forms of payment the resort takes when we want to purchase all the "extras" on site?  I didn't want to bring a lot of cash and didn't know if we could use a credit card?

Extras, which are on the Lomas brochure, you can pay for with credit card. Set up fees (ie. for extra items you bring with you) are CASH only. But keep in mind most of the time the cost seems to be between $75 -200, depending on how much stuff there is.

I definitely would like to salvage our relationship, but don't want to lose out on what my dream was for myself getting married and my MOH.

I am trying really hard to remember this is about US...not everyone else...(not usually my outtake on things)!!

I was really hoping that someone out there that is getting married would say exactly what you said to ease my mind!!!  I just didn't know if I was being too harsh!  I agree, I am going to have a talk with her today and see how it goes, but I think I am ready to test her with "the twist" on how busy we are going to start getting!  ;)

I do have my best friend who knows exactly what is going on, and would be willing to step up if need be, or stand WITH the accused MOH....LOL...whatever I want is what she will do, and she totally understands!  (thank goodness!)

Thanks again, I feel SO MUCH BETTER about my predicament!

Take a deep breathe, and then make the decision that will keep you smiling on your day! Have your best friend close by, since she might be able to help a lot. And let us know how it goes!

When you used a IPOD nano for the sound system did you just use the Ipod USB cord to plug in?

We used an Itouch. But we just handed it to the WC. I am pretty sure they will have whatever cord or attachments they need to make it work.

Glad you had a good time Maggie!  Two and a half hours?  You're gonna have a hard time choosing your faves!

I am still waiting on mine which is getting old.  :(  I asked for some teasers and what she sent me, I didn't love.  So, we shall see what happens.

I am trying to get back into wedding planning mode now!  We are getting close and I'm excited but I feel like I need to get on the ball!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
