Hey girls, Just writing to check in.  Some of us are getting close!  I don't know about you but I feel very unprepared.  I feel like I have a ton of stuff to do still.  I go this weekend for my second fitting and I'm a little nervous b/c I lost about 5 or 6 pounds.  My fiance picked out the guys clothing.  I'm not sure it meshes perfectly with what my girls are wearing, but I am not gonna make him change it.  My girls are in turquoise (more greenish) colored dresses.  FI is wearing a tan suit with a blue/white striped shirt (the blue is more sky blue than turquoise, and the groomsman are wearing white linen pants and tan short sleeved button down shirts.  My dad who is walking me down the aisle is wearing khaki colored linen pants and a blue (this one more of a dark blue) but it is the same style shirt as the groomsmans tan one.  I hope it all looks alright together but I'm a little nervous.  I guess my dad doesn't have to match perfectly, and FI's shirt won't really show too much in pics.  So, we should be good.

I have my boudoir shoot next Saturday.  I'm excited and nervous!!

Hope everyone's planning is going well!!

I think you will be good! I am in a simular situation so what I did is I just scrapped my "colors" and went monochrome blues and greens with white and khaki. It all looks good so far. I think with the ocean and sand you and those colors will do great!!!

It will all look beautiful and the colors will flow amazingly.  I hope the dress works out but if it is a little loose no worries.  I swear after being down there 3 days before the wedding i put on drinking weight and of course food weight. everything was delicious and i really don't think i had huge meals but the meals had more substance than what i was eating previously lol!! And lots of drinking so do sweat to much if it is loose a little.

I was trying so hard to coordinate colors of the grooms with the dads, and the moms with the bridesmaids that i finally just gave up!! It all worked out.  My father-in-law bless his heart ended up wearing a white tux, pale yellow shirt with mismatching blue bow tie and cumerbun!!! WOW is all i can say!  I freaked out at first when he told me about his outfit.....someone in florida told him it was perfect ....NOT.....but in the end it doesn't matter.  We all had a great time.

Thanks girls.  I'm sure it will be fine.  As we get closer, I am finding that I am worried less and less about all the little details.  Guess I'm not as "bride" oriented as I thought I would be.  I think just the fact that our families and our closest friends will all be vacationing together is going to make it wonderful.

Less is more, do you have any family pics?  I'm so anxious to see!!  Oh, and how far was Azul Beach from AS?  How did you get back and forth?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
