Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Thats a little stressful, yeah!?

I can relate a little as I'm traveling for work through March 17th starting tomorrow and apparently am supposed to be buying a dress like now. But it'll have to wait!

Good luck and try to enjoy your time in Europe, especially knowing what's waiting for you at the end. So cool!!!

I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have, so you might not hear from me til I'm a (secretly) married woman!

The dress is a picture of a picture...so not the greatest....the top is a plain halter...but the skirt is the perfect amount of flowy...no train....

The shoes have purple and clear crystals...and my colors are all shades of purple....

VERY PRETTY and I love your idea of using all shades of purple as your wedding color.........

(Yes I did find a reason for people to wear their bridesmaids dresses again!) I have another Bachlorette in Philly since it was just easier for me to fly up there then everyone down here.

We are doing a pubcrawl here in the area I live Midtown. I am getting my hair and make-up done Sat so I am just giddy!!! Had to share!

As soon as I read your "theme" a huge smile crossed my face.  That sounds like a SUPER fun and festive way to celebrate you with your girls! I imagine the pictures will bring back memories for years to come. :-)  Have a geat time!!!

Long story short.......Everything was beautiful.  The resort moved me and 5 other guest rooms into Azul Villa Carola.  It was AMAZING!!!!!! We lived like kings and queens.  Azul Beach and Azul Carola is an A++++++++++ in my book!

I'm SOOOOOO happy for you and beyond pleased to hear that everything worked out even better than you thought it would! It sounds like you truly had the wedding of your dreams and every wrong appeared to be made right by Karisma.  I know you had a tough few days leading up to your big day, but it warms my heart to hear that in the end they treated you as a human being who had been disapointed rather than just another customer.  Although it was tough for you initially, reading about your experience only further confirmed for me that no matter how little or how much I stress out about our wedding......in the end, things will be just as they were meant to be. CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a wife and a mother! Both roles are the most rewarding and fulfilling!!! Be blessed!

We sent our invitations out on Thursday and people have already received them....this is so exciting!!!

We did a combo of a STD/Invite (I wanted to save a few bucks and liked the idea of doing only ONE mass mailing, I'm so glad we did it this way)

We had "minibooks" made with information and pictures on each page. The first page is the picture we would've used on a save the date had we done a separate one, the 2nd page has Wedding info, the third page has area/hotel info and the last page is perforated (DIY) so they can be ripped off and mailed in (return address and stamp on back side)

Sorry for the pics, they're from my phone.

**Less is More**

Congratulations!!! I am sooooooo happy everything turned out better than you expected!  YAAAYYY! I have seen photos of the Villa and it looks AMAZING!  We were thinking of booking the villa for us and our wedding party but it was more expensive than the other rooms so we decided against it.  You are so lucky and it sounds like you had a amazing time!!  I can't wait to hear more about your wedding and see your photos!!

Very cute and unique invites!!! I love the picture of the two of you jumping up in the air with sombreros because it is very festive and kind of alludes to the fun your guests will have at AS when they join you!

Hello Ladies!

I had a chance to catch up on all your posts and it sounds like everyone is doing well! Lessismore's great news made me feel even better about the occasional reservations that I have about Karisma and their practices and policies.  Anyway, I am feeling really accomplished today because we mailed out our invitations this morning, purchased our flights this week, booked our Honeymoon resort, and I bought another wedding dress!

My next tasks are now to narrow down our OOT bag purchases as well as a content list; order my real touch bouquet; decide on bringing table pieces or ordering from LOMAS; and order chair sashes. Maybe if I post my tasks here as other brides had in the past, I will feel compelled to be held accountable.  With less than 90 days to go, itâ€s crunch time.  J

I was online goggling various wedding items and came across a few AS weddings I had not viewed before so I figured Iâ€d share….

This AS wedding is simple yet beautiful and their “Day After†photos are intimate, romantic, and a tad bit sexy J:

And these two couples went with Caribe Photos for those of you that are considering them or have booked them. Thought it might give you some insight:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
