Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Wow, love, love, love your dresses!!  They are both gorgeous but totally different, I can see the dilemma!  I would totally recommend going back to both and taking a ton of pictures of you in each dress, hair up, down, jewelry, etc.  Then go home and look at each, its amazing what looking at a picture of yourself in the dress will do.   I thought I was in love with one dress in the store, which looked great on, but when I saw the photos of myself, I fell in more love with what ultimately became my wedding dress.  I realized from looking at the pictures, that that dress captured best what I wanted for our day.  Good luck, I'm sure you will make the right decision for you!  :)

Ahhhh....thanks! Yeah, no changing dresses for you at this point! Apparently I'm even getting close to needing to choose. It seems really far out but I guess that's how it goes. And time IS flying!

Both dresses are really pretty....I love the flowiness of the skirt in the 2nd picture...

Who is the designer for the 1st one?  I was looking at pics awhile ago..and there is a Justin Alexander dress very similar to that one that i fell in love with originally....but I decided against to be more simple (as I had the big lace ballgown for my 1st wedding).

I went dress shopping Staurday also...was supposed to go with my mom...but she got sick..and I wound up by myself...which actually turned out ok since i got to decide what i liked as opposed to what my mom didn't like :)  I went to david's and was actually dead-set on not liking anything but i found a dress that i loved...that with the sales going on there right now is so ridiculously cheap that i have no choice but to get it.  It's a simple halter on top with a flowy-ish sort of skirt...very flattering...and then I figure super sparkly dangling earrings.  I'll probably go back and order sometime next month.

The boudoir shoot sounds like a great idea! I love the idea of the bridal one with you veil and the Ravens one! My FI is a huge Broncos fan and I think thats a very cute idea! What are you going to do with the photos?

Are there any of the other brides out there that have done a boudoir shoot? What did you FI think of the photos?

Thanks!

Yay, good luck girlie!!  You're a little hot momma; I'm sure your gonna look gorgeous in all of them!! :o)

And girls, I have decided that I am going to do a boudoir shoot!!  I'm nervous b/c I am not "sexy" at all!!  But I'm thinking of doing a bridal one with white lingerie and my veil, a Ravens one since it's my FI's fave team, and a police one (his profession).

Any suggestions on outfits or things to do?

I tried on your second dress a few times and loved it but ended up deciding on something more fitted with lace. FYI: I was going to make the neckline a sweetheart neckline and it looks really cute on that dress!  Good Luck!

I had my sister (MOH) and bridesmaid with me and they were great! I went in looking for lace with straps and found a good option in that style (first pic) but then fell in love with a flowy dress at the second store, it was so comfortable (2nd pic) and fun. I'm torn between styles and think I need another round. It was an enlightening (and a little overwhelming) experience, wow, there are so many different dresses out there!!!!

Thanks! I don't know who the designer of the first dress is, I tried it on at a shop that didn't like to give too much info and at the time I was overwhelmed and probably wasn't being aggressive enough! If I find out, I'll let you know.

I think I'm going to do round 2 in about a month when things settle down at work and I'm not traveling too much. I don't want to rush into anything. THanks for everyone's opinions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
