There are a couple of things you can do. There are tons of electrical outlets in the gazebo, so you could just run the Christmas lights into the laterns.

The DIY LED lights. Quite simple-there is a forum on here where I got the instructions. It was super easy. We bought the batteries and LED lights from dealextreme.com . We bought 40 batteries and 120 LED for about $30.

The basics are tape the LED lights and battery together with electric tape..stick a piece of plastic between the battery and contacts for travel. Once you get to the resort, remove the plastic piece and use a small alligator clip to keep the battery and contacts tight.

I actually thought Zavaz Terrace was Zocalo Al Fresco...

BigBop I haven't sent out invites either, and my wedding is before yours!

I guess the saying about "misery loves company" is true in some ways! msnwink.gif For some reason hearing that I am not alone with the tardy invites made me feel so much better! I have been feeling like a slacker regarding these dang invites and some days I ponder about why I am even sending them out to guests since it is so late. Everytime I read something that suggests it's okay to send them out 6 weeks before the big day, I have a silent confirmation that I don't suck that bad afterall. cheesy.gif Thanks for sharing, I feel better already......

I'm having some memory issues, so hopefully you girls can help.  Did the free wedding package ever include the brides bouquet?  ($60 credit towards one at least).  I could've sworn it did, but my WC now says its not, and I cant find my original package info!

I've changed my package multiple times, so anything is possible :)

I had to pay for my bouquet (we did the Free Sweetheart), but it was $60. It was beautiful.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
