Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Yes, your guests staying at another resort can come for FREE if you are paying for a private reception. I believe it's for 8 hours. I love this when I found out. I have 4 people using a timeshare rather than staying with us.

They wanted to go for 10 days and the price was $5768 for their room. Plus it is around 1800 airfare. I really wish prices were cheaper but are not and I offered to switch resorts and she said no that was fine. I think they have found somewhere else to stay.

Can people not staying at the resort come over for the day when you have a private reception. For how many hours and is there a fee?? She was going to do my hair and pictures.

Yes, like Tisha mentioned. You can pay for their 3 night stay, it will be cheaper than $800. Worth a shot. I'm not sure when you're wedding date is, but my photographer is supposed to be great.

I have to say about photogs staying at the resort......i was wanting my photog for more than just the wedding.  ie the catamaran/rehearsal dinner, day after shoot, etc.  anyway, if you have them come another day it is another $500 (or $800) depending on when you booked.  So, it cost me under $1000 dollars to have him stay there 3 days and he is basically "on call" the whole time!! it was going to be at least $1000 for hime to come at least 2 days, so it was actually cheaper for me!!  :)  def look into it.

also, i am bringing a hair and makeup person and it cost me $900 to have her stay there 3 nights and airfare.  she is doing anyones hair/make-up i want her to do b/c we aren't having a wedding party.  so, my mother, FMIL, future sister-in-laws, grandmothers, friends, etc.  I know for sure I would be spending more than that at the salon at the resort (b/c i would be paying for mothers, grandmothers, etc).  and this way we will all be in the honeymoon suite relaxing together!!  just some things to think about.....and ways to avoid these stupid fees!!  :)

My final fitting for my wedding dress and TTD was today and the changes and alterations were beautiful.  I mean she was fabulous.  I told her i would give her a shout out!  She wanted me to wait until a couple of weeks before the wedding to finalize everything which made me nervous. So literally last saturday we fitted both of my dresses, my two bridesmaids, three dresses for my mom and a dress for my mother-in law.  She called me Monday morning saying everything was done!!! Wow so amazing and beautifully done.  If any one lives in columbus ohio area i know the BEST SEAMSTRESS!

Ok other things completed are my OOT bags and goodies, place cards and wine glass charms, my room cards ( i will pass these out at the welcome party and guest can swap room numbers so they know where to find each other and it encourages mingling), and menus.

So still working on excursion / important reminders letter and ceremony programs.  So needless to say improvement has been made and so happy everything is coming together in the nick of time! woot.gif

GO YOU!!! Sounds like you are ahead of the curve ball and ready to rock and roll!!! Good job!!!

Are you doing the catamaran cruise for your rehearsal dinner, I was thinking of doing that. Who did you go through and how much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Our quote has been the same for 3 adults in a room as 2 adults in a room.  Here is what our guests are quoted on our website for 3 days:

Jacuzzi Junior Suite - 1 Adult - $651.92

Jacuzzi Junior Suite - 2 Adults - $682.08

Luxury Jacuzzi Junior Suite - 1 Adult - $682.08

Luxury Jacuzzi Junior Suite - 2 Adults - $532.44

Luxury Jacuzzi Junior Suite - 3 Adults - $532.44

What did you do for your wine charms Less is More?  And do you have a template for your room cards?  That's a cute idea.

I have 3 people in one room and it was cheaper for all three. It wasn't a huge difference but it defantely made a difference.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
