Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I have Angie. She's super nice on the phone but even MORE selective when it comes to the responses. She replies to 1 of 4 emails I send :(

She also just told me Doremixx is not allowed at the resort but I've seen numerous brides on here who have booked him/them. I'm going to fight it!

I was told yesterday they weren't allowed and was VERY disappointed. This is one of the few things I really wanted at the reception.

Does anyone know if they allow hand held sparklers at least? Of course my WC isn't getting back to me on it.

I told her that i was booking Doremixx and she never said that they weren't allowed she just told me to pass on my details to her once i'd booked him. Ive spoke to her on the phone, but its very expensive for me to keep phoning her from the UK. And that is what we are paying for is for a WC so they should do their job and reply seeing as we are the ones spending the money.

I'm so sorry to hear of all your frustrations with the wedding coordinators. I've always heard that the ones in Miami are difficult, but once you get to the resort, they take great care of everything.  I understand the frustration though, b/c you need to know what all to book before hand.  I just got a new coordinator, and so far, she's been great.  Hope things turn around for you ladies.

Have you contacted a GIVC agent to see what types of deals they can get you?  Their rates are a little better (for a group contract of course) and they offer a lot of perks.  Something to look into.  I think all the Mexico resorts are a little ridiculous with what they charge for all the little details.  I get glances of the other girls at different resorts complaining of the same things we do on here.  I guess it's the price we pay to marry in Paradise.  Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
