Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Hi Ladies:

I'm in need of some last minute help/advice!! Can anyone tell me what they thought of the speaker/sound system used for a reception dinner/dance at Plaza Zavaz? We're wondering if the 110W system we are renting will be enough for GOOD sound - music is big for us and our wedding guests are all big dancers so I want to make sure the system is good....i know plaza zavaz is outside and open air, so i just wanted to see what those of you who used the system thought of it.

we are looking at the two speaker system that lomas offers for rent on their site.

I will shoot you a message in about 10 days. We have bought a sound dock for our Sunday cocktail party which will be held at the Zavas Plaza. Then for our dinner reception we have rented the Lomas sound system with microphone. I will let you know how both are, just not sure that will be fast enough.

LOL! I just remembered you are getting married before me! Sorry! We get down there on Jan 19. You are welcome to plug in our sound dock and see how loud it is, that might help you choose if you have to upgrade before your dinner. I know we'll be in one of the swimup rooms, just not sure what room number yet.

We wanted to make sure that the few short speeches that will be given can be heard. So we had to rent the larger system which comes with a microphone. We are having our dinner reception, as well as one of the cocktail parties, at the Zavas Plaza.

So, the alterations appt this AM was both good and bad.  We started with the bridesmaid dresses for my daughter and niece.  Both have to be taken in and hemmed; one needs boning.  :(  Well, while my niece has her dress on, she starts to get sick all over the seamstresses store and her dress.  Ugh, what a mess.  I felt awful for the lady and her shop, but she handled the situation wonderfully.  I offered to pay to have her carpets cleaned.  I hope it all comes out.  :(  So, their alterations cost more than the dress.  My nieces has to be dry cleaned now as well, so $130 for hers and $85.00 for my daughters.  This is the not so good part.  On the brighters side, I think the minor changes being made to my dress is going to make it absolutely perfect, and I can't wait to see the changes!!!!

Oh Tisha, you poor thing! Not a good day. Hope your niece feels better soon, and that dry cleaning it will clean it up.

But great news to hear that the changes you wanted can be done cheesy.gif Can't wait to see it when it's finished!

Is that 1960 for flight and room for how many nights?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
