Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Thanks for this! I actually found them last week and wish I would've been blogging more 3 months ago so I could've found them! They actually give a lot of information away for free, even to help us find resorts that have done Indian DWs. They also did tell me about the Sensatori wedding last year -- they had to have their reception at the Secrets Maroma... thanks again!

I know that they had a destination wedding at the Azul Sensatori a couple months ago with about 120 guests (Indian wedding).  I also know that they could not have the reception at the resort because of the size of the party and I think it was 10-10-10 - a popular wedding day - making it even more difficult.

Hope it helps...

That is just silly.  We're not having bridesmaids per se, but we each have a daughter that will be standing up.  They're young, so no makeup, but I was planning on paying for them to have their hair done.  Maybe not!

I just asked my WC today...it is $86 +10% surcharge for bridesmaids hair ($94.60).

That seems like a lot...but I think I'll be doing that for my BMs...wanted to do hair and makeup for them...but think makeup is the same price and that just seems kind of ridiculous..

I know...heard from my WC again today...I was wrong about makeup prices....makeup is actually $168 but that includes a trial as well.  And every spa treatement has the 10% surcharge.  Because I'm part moron today...thats just salestax right???

Therer's a couple of products i can reccomend. if you have allergies you should dry a product form origins called no puffery. origins is more of a natural line and it has aloe in it that will help soothe and cool the area. There is also the garnier roller ball that works good with puffyness not soo much dark circles. Also if you don't want to spend money then put some tea bags in the fridge and use those on your eyes. It works great! the caffine in it will bring down the puffiness.

Just checking to see if anyone knows of any products for puffy under eyes.  I have awful allergies and have been on allergy shots for about 8 months now, weekly.  But, my eyes are still really awful with dark circles and puffiness.  I would like to find something that can help before the wedding.

Thanks!!

Thanks Vic!!

And girls, is it just me or are the wedding coordinators pretty much useless?  Maybe that's a harsh word to use but I feel like I'm always referred to the Lomas site and never really get a true answer on anything.  I guess that's why this forum is so wonderful though.  I need to set up a phone call.  Maybe that would help.

Any of our January brides using the exotic gazebo?  I'm wondering about the candy cane vs draped shears.  I really don't like the candy cane look.  :(

And I thought the reservation at Spoons was good for 50 people. Was just told it's 40.  Am I crazy, or was it 50 a while back?

I had never heard you could go above the 40 (and it was always 40 as far I know).  In the past couple of weeks, all of what I thought I was doing has changed...now my (our) wedding is going to be more :)  More people...and probably a private event now....

Working on a group agreement with my TA right now...which makes me super nervous to put the $$$ down..but only doing it for 10 rooms because I just can't afford to make deposits for anyone else.

Don't know why...but all of a sudden a year does not seem like that much time...and I am a tiny bit wedding obsessed.  If only I knew how much $$$ FH's family was contributing....but they need to see a budget and everything 1st..so..it's a crazy little cycle :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
