Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Not tacky at all. I plan on re-using as much as possible!  Any flowers used in the ceremony will definitely be making its way to the reception.  Bouquets, hanging flowers...all of it!  My WC also highly recommended doing this, so I'm sure it wont be a problem with the resort to transfer everything.

Or if not the bouquets, then other florals, like these hanging bouquets (or balls) that can double as ceremony/reception decor. I hate waste (money or stuff!) haha...

I totally understand.  It took my FI a long time to get it together but i just kept leaving the sites up on the computer and eventually after he saw my bridesmaids were done he got on the ball.  It all works out just don't stress.  Our groomsmen are wearing yellow linen shirts and white linen pants.  My FI is wearing a white linen suit with the same yellow shirt as the groomsmen.  It looks really nice.  FI even bought the pants.  We purchased them from www.islandimporter.com  We had to do custom orders cuz his groomsmen are pretty tall. great service and received items sooner than expectedcheesy.gifQuote:

FI is wearing a white linen suit that he choose himself. The groomsmen are wearing Volcom shirts and shorts (again FI choice- although I had to bug him a little to order them in the summer, before the summer clothes were gone)

Yes, mine is bigger in the winter and smaller in the summer.  Its ok if it swings around a little, but if you shake your hand really hard and it starts to come over your knuckle (or any chance of losing it) you should get it sized.  Then in the summer time it should be difficult to get on, but be comfortable around your finger.

I used to work in jewelry so I have this whole sizing thing down to a T!  :)

My guests are calling me because my weekend is sold out.  I only have 16 people booked, plus us.  I TOLD them 2 months ago to book their rooms, get on a payment plan if you need too, etc.  Now I'm stressed because so many people will not be there.  If anyone getting married that weekend has any left over blocked rooms please let me know.

I am ordering tall glass vases to double as my isle runners during the ceremony and then table toppers at the reception.  Gazebo flowers will also be transferred too!

Anywhoo sharing the tiffany runners and sashes is a fabulous idea! Let me know....

Our groomsmen are wearing tommy bahama shirts and custom made pants.  My groom will be wearing a custom suit for the ceremony then he is changing into the matching tommy bahama shirt for the afterparty.  Just simple white/creamy coloured linen shirts.

I wish I nudged my FI more - all the suits will be done in the nick of time for the wedding next month.  Hopefully wacko.gif

I guess I shouldn't worry - I gave up on my original wedding dress when I went for a fitting a couple weeks ago!  I will never buy from a sample sale again!  Fortunately a local wedding shop still carried the designer I love and I found "the dress".  I got so lucky!  It too will be ready right before we leave...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
