Also I am having an issue, my mom is a florist and would like to buy flowers down there to do them herself (at least the bridesmaids and bridal bouquet). I'm not sure how to work this out. I don't know if Sensatori's florist would let her buy them from them loose or if she would have to get them with who they go through. Help!!

As we live in the UK we were unable to visit before (too expensive), we booked through our TA back in May, we have booked the Pearl Package. We get married on August 2nd at 3pm on the beach. We are having a private reception at either Zavaz or Zocola (waiting for conformation on where), we are having the Family style dinner. I have chosen the tropical bouquet for myself and the bridesmaid (I have 4 big ones and 1 little one). I am still deciding about photographers but thinking about Cabrie Photography to do photos and video. Ive ordered my dress  (not your ty[ical DW dress more princess style) and my  bridesmaid dresses, we've got our rings, just need to sort out what the men are wearing!!! We have 18 of us going so far.

 

When we come home we are having an AHR at the end of August with everyone thast couldnt come to Mexico, which i'm really looking forward to, cos i'll get to wear my dress again  

 

 

Anything you need to know just ask and if I can help I will.

Awesome! Sounds like you're moving along nicely - so fun. 

When you booked back in May, did they not guarantee the location of the ceremony and reception? I put certain location on hold when I put the deposit down and I can't imagine signing off until they guarantee my EXACT places. That's what it's all about for me! 

We're doing an at home reception too, which will be nice for everyone who can't make it (honestly, I hope more people want to go to that than Mexico, we can't have TOO many people! We're basing everything on 75 ppl).

Hey girls.. I have a question for those of you that are using destinationweddings.com for your TA. Have you or your guests been having issues getting ahold of your TA or their not getting back to them in a timely manner? I understand they are busy, but upsetting my guests make me more upset because I went with them to try to make this process as hassle free as I could for my guests. I have complained once to the upper levels and I don't want to seem like a b-word and complain again, but when is enough, enough? Sorry.. had to see if it was just me!

HI Ladies Well my wedding was ABSOLUTELY AMAZZZZZZZZZZZZZIIING!!!! IM AM so excited and cant wait to get my DVD from the videographer and our pics...everything went smoothly for the most part and I have absolutely no regrets. Everyone had a FANTASTIC time! i only have this one pic from our photographer but hopefully by this weekend I'll be able to put up more Dont stress too much girls everything will be wonderful ttyls

Hi Chapa, I haven't had any issues with my TA- I think mine has been wonderful to me and both my guests. If you aren't getting the service you want, keep going up the chain until you do!! We are the reason why they are in business and it's all about the referral process for them. They should want to keep you happy as much as you want to be happy!

 Oh my gosh!! What a gorgeous picture! I LOVE your dress! Who was your photographer??? Amazing! I'm so glad everything went well for you. I'm getting so antsy and I still have 4 months to go!

My TA through DW.com, while hasn't impressed me with knowledge and helpfulness, but she has been available to people as far as I know.  I would definitely express your concerns and hopefully someone will get through to the TA!   Good luck!
