Just noticed my post didn't appear yesterday...hmmm....

PM me if you have any questions about that and I can forward them to her.

Meredith, I would love to know the details about the nanny service, since we have 8 kids coming along. And great advice about taking the important things in your carry on (dress/shoes/suit). We were planning on it, but hearing it again only makes it seem even more important. Tisha, I think that should be enough laterns. We bought 40 in assorted colors/sizes. But that 's mostly because I am worried some will get damaged along the way, so we are bringing extras.Plus FI loves the latern idea, so he took charge of the amounts...it might be a bit overkill LOL. I have my BD session tomorrow. So nervous, I thought I would have all this time to get ready...and it's tomorrow.

Murmel, are you lighting up your lanterns?  If so, where did you get the light ups?

And, GOOD LUCK!!!  That's so exciting!  I would love to do a BD shoot, but don't think I have the funds to do it.  You'll have to tell us all about your experience.  shots.gif  Like this little guy ~ have some drinks before  - hee hee

Ooooh, Let us know how the BD shoot goes. I defintiely want to do it, but still trying to get my body in wedding day condition. I'm sure you are going to knock his socks off! How did you find your photographer? I've been doing some research but not sure who to trust.

I'd also like to hear about the light up lanterns. Where did you get them from? I've read posts from ladies that have said they had to create their own (DIY) lights for them. I'm so confused. hahaha!

We have ordered LEDs and batteries to light the laterns. But we have not recieved them yet. I am using the instructions from the DIY forum.

Just putting together my outfits for the BD...really don't have a clue LOL Hope the photographer can make miracles happen.  Tisha-you can do one for your 1st year anniversary!

Actually found this studio through another lady who posted on the forum. Plus they do hair and make up...which I fail at both. So that alone should make me look good! And just to let you know the last 2 months have been really stressful...so not many workouts and really not feeling wedding shape ready...sigh....next week!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
