Thanks!

I had silver overlay tablecloths and they were $5 per table.  Extremely inexpensive considering what they charge for other things.

They were very reasonable.  Flowers weren't that important to me.  I just had them because everyone said I should but I was impressed with what we got.  I only wish the bouquets were a tad bit bigger.

I've seen the battery candle lights being used at the resort. I thought it was really cheap and corky but actually did not look too bad in a nice setup. You might want to consider looking into that.

here are a few suggestions to fight the wind and keep  candles lighted. Here are the ones  my WC suggested. Also there is the led option.Which will stay lighted for as long as the party lasts.luminaries.jpg

Zoiks!!  That's outrageous!

Oh, and Maggie, I think I recall you saying you were bringing your own ipod docking station.  Can you tell me what type it is, and are you certain it will work with their speakers and all?  I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to keep an eye out for one with all the Holiday sales coming up.

Thanks!

I am bringing my own IPOD Ihome for my welcome party so basically they just give you an outlet to plug in. My speakers in my Ihome are pretty loud for a little machine so I think it will work for the beach welcome BBQ

For the Reception I rented their sound system and she guarentees me that my ipod will plug-in :)

We are getting married at El Dorodo Royale, but I would assume the same prices apply to Azul Sensatori as they are both through Lomas travel.   I was quoted $650 for your projector package with laptop and $450 if I bring my own lap top.  Wonder why yours is so much more?  And I was never offered the tv package.  May have to ask about that as $250 is way more in my price range!  We were just going to have the slideshow play on a loop on a lap top in the corner, once the dance starts, so guests could go over and watch whenever.  But the real deal would be way better.

Hey, I got married in July, and you do not need to bring your own ipod docking station.  Any ipod works with their system.  We rented the sound equipment and hooked our ipod up.  Sound was fantastic!  The wedding coordinator even took care of our ipod for us (stopping it during speeches, taking requests, etc...).  No complaints.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
